Great service from the start when we were given a free upgrade. Spa was lovely, all staff was very accommodating - even helped me look for the resident ghost LOL. Only irritable person we encountered in the entire city was the concierge the first night - Go figure!
We loved it! Clean, comfortable, quiet w/lots of old Santa Fe charm. Staff were very nice - helpful and informative. Breakfast was great. Its just a short walk to shopping, wonderful restaurants, and galleries but feels far removed from the hustle and bustle.
Lovely! Had a great experience. Check in and out was easy and pretty quick. We didn't really explore the hotel too much as we were focused on seeing Santa Fe but everything seemed to be in good condition. Parking is free and plentiful. Our rooms were clean and well organized and the beds were comfortable. There is no coffee in the rooms but they set up a coffee station on each floor by the elevators which was great. It's a short walk to the plaza - we walked a different route each time so we could see something new. If you prefer not to walk, there is a shuttle service which works very well.
I HAVE STAYED AT THE INN OF THE GOVERNORS SEVERAL TIMES. MY HUSBAND AND I ALWAYS ENJOYED B EING THERE , AND THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME BACK SINCE HE PASSED AWAY.BEING THERE BROUGHT BACK WONDERFUL MEMORIES AND HOPEFULLY I CAN RETURN SOON.
"Wonderful hotel close to the plaza. great manager"
The hotel is lovely, close to the plaza . Karen the manager was so generous with her time and information . We were thrilled with the rooms and the breakfast every morning is a delight. The hotel and staff were our favorite part of our trip.
We enjoyed our stay at the Old Santa Fe Inn. It is a very quick walk from downtown -- less than 5 minutes. The rooms are quaint and cozy. We stayed here twice during our trip: the first stay we had a second-floor room, which was very nice though small; the second stay we had a first floor room, which was large with a gas fireplace.
The free breakfast is terrific; it was a great way to start the day. The hotel also has parking (very tight spots, but it's free) and a small exercise room. The hotel also has coffee, tea, and cookies every afternoon. Great place to stay in Santa Fe!
