Maisonette Rooms
The staff were mostly nice and welcoming, however the first maisonette room was a bit dusty. We complained and they put us in a cleaner room the next morning. The 2 biggest complaints were the lack of mirror in the bathroom as the hairdryer was fixed to the wall in there. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together that would push apart in the night so you would end up in a gap between mattresses. The final thing is the amount of stairs was crazy, we had our young son with mobility issues having to climb a lot of stairs to reach the family rooms. These rooms also have ladder type steps inside to separate the parents and Childrens rooms. We liked the hotel in some ways but the maisonette room isn’t really toddler friendly. Risk assessment on how these rooms are great for families needs to be done. Santorini is very beautiful and people are lovely.

Most of the staff where great only a couple exceptions. One was the pool bartender (quite rude). No ice machines snd I was told to go buy some if I wanted it. Rudely! No one sold ice that was near the hotel. They only allow one key and there were 4 of us. Inconvenience! I would choose a different option if I returned.

We can’t find fault with Afrodite Venus Beach Hotel. The location is perfect, our room was great - the best mattress and pillows we’ve ever had! Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and pool towels each day. The pool area was great with a wonderful bar and barmen. The breakfast choice was amazing and the staff so friendly. We would go back tomorrow and will recommend it to all our friends.

Fabulous stay
Fabulous stay. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean, lots of clean bed linen and towels. We had a standard room that was basic but comfortable. Great location for the bars & restaurants. Just a few yards from the beach with bar service and free sunbeds. Nice pool. Lots of choice for breakfast.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was excellent. There was lots of shopping nearby and a beautiful boardwalk right outside the back. There are also many chairs available for the guests that are free of charge along with an excellent pool. The beach is convenient to access and there is friendly staff to get you food and drinks were at the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting the Kamari area.

Great locations, lots to do. The biggest knocks are 1. The lack of seating around the pool and at the beach, in 5 days we’re we’re only able to find pool seating one time. Quite a let down. The beach was better, however, 2 of the days we found ourselves standing for an extended period of time waiting for chairs. The second big knock was the food, the breakfast is as bad as I have ever experienced. The other restaurant the food is much better but the options are very limited. Down at the beach the menu is very limited. Our server at the beach the first two days was FANTASTIC, the last three days he was gone and service was mediocre at best. Overall very nice location but the food and facilities were sub par.

Loved everything EXCEPT the pool and pool bar closed much too early, 6:00 PM, and they are VERY strict about their pool/beach towels. We only received two towels for a four person room. When I asked for more they were reluctant but I did receive. We were there for four days and when I asked for a fresh towel in day two they refused saying it is every three days. The towels they provide are heavy and do not dry easily so they begin to smell quickly, especially if used on the beach. If you can bring your own, you might want to. Seriously, the towels and the pool closing are the only complaints I have. The staff were friendly (except the older woman that controlled the towels), the hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice. The location can’t be beat, near everything! Loved our stay here!

Excellent beach front hotel
Lovely hotel on the beach front. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The chambermaids kept the room immaculately clean every day. Lovely location and the rest of the island was easily accessible, either with local buses (which were packed) or quad bikes/scooters. Only bad point was the breakfast. There was plenty to choose from but the hot buffet was not kept hot at all.

Peaceful and romantic
Went for our anniversary and had an amazing stay. We stayed in the newer section of the hotel and had our private hot tub and spa which was amazing! Some reviews do note that the hot tub isn't actually heated, however if you go during the summer months like we did then this isn't a problem at all (cool during the day and warm at night). The view of the black pebble beach and nearby cliff was really romantic. The hotel has a bar/restaurant by the beach and provides free sunbeds with umbrellas to their guests! There are lots of restaurants, shops and tour companies nearby and Kamari is a nice peaceful area of Santorini with less tourists. I really recommend this hotel if you're looking for a peaceful romantic getaway.

Our stay was more than expected the pictures did not do the balcony with jacuzzi justice it was more than we anticipated and a perfect stay over all. They cleaned our room every day and even accommodated having a doctor test us for covid before going back to the US. Great hotel. I only wish I had more time to go to the spa!

The WORST part of my 2 week trip in Greece
I don't have many good things to say about this hotel. While on a 2 week trip with my father thru Greece, we got stuck on an island, as there were high winds, so all ferries were cancelled. We pre booked all our accommodations and when our ferry to Santorini was cancelled, I immediately contacted the hotel to let them know. It took nearly 2 days for us to finally be able to catch a ferry. While on the ferry, we spoke to other passengers experiencing the same, who all confirmed the hotels were very understanding and refunded their money, especially since it was slow season. At the port, upon arrival, we learned the hotel was charging us more than the local rate for a ride to the airport, so we went with a local company. This was also the only hotel that did not include transportation in our stay. When we arrived to the hotel, we missed 2 paid days. When I tried to request a refund from the front desk. She directed me to operations. When I emailed operations to request a refund and let them know I write reviews for a living, I wanted to give them the chance to mend the situation. I received an email stating I was blackmailing them and refusing a refund or even a credit. Never have I ever been accused of blackmail. I booked "the largest room" in the hotel and had to walk sideways in it. No hand soap, no toilettries and no hand sanitizer (it's COVID time). The free breakfast was mediocre. The only good thing was the location and the beach. There are other, better hotels.

We got a room with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony and it was totally worth the extra cost! The room itself was clean and spacious. We also enjoyed the every day breakfast buffett.

The staff was nice and kind and available at all time upon request. The pool is nice but there were not enough sunbeds when crowded with guests. The breakfast was fine but should vary, the sweets might be changed from time to time and the fruit basket looked old and not perfectly clean. The bedroom was spacious, towels and sheets clean. We would have appreciated a soap holder in the shower to hold shampoo and shower gel. Thank you

The hotel was excellent. We had the superior deluxe room which was absolutely amazing, including jacuzzi on the large balcony and a view over looking the sea. Outstanding.
