“Cute Bed & Breakfast!”
I went to Aruba for the first time in October and decided to stay at Club Arias based on reviews and photos. It was also my first time staying at a bed & breakfast. It turned out to be a good choice. The design and layout of the place was lovely. Nice size pools with a swim up bar. The room was nice and clean with a fresh scent. The beds are really comfortable that you'll fall asleep once you lay down. They have outdoor showers which are nice at night because you can see the stars shining in the sky. They serve a great complimentary breakfast prepared by Chef Gabriel every morning. He also makes really good cookies! They also offer free phone calls to the US. Overall, Arias, Gabriel, James, & Flory made it a wonderful stay for me. I enjoyed my first time in Aruba and would definitely return to Club Arias again!
“Great quiet place to relax”
Because it has limited number of rooms it feels like you have the whole resort to yourself. So, if you want to relax and enjoy some quiet time then this is the best place to stay. The staff is excellent. They are there to help you enjoy your stay however they can help. The place is clean and well maintained. I was upgraded (at my request) with nominal fee to a one-bedroom suite and I loved it. The rooms are clean. Bedding was great. You could have the swimming pool all to yourself if you wanted. I felt very safe inside the resort. Overall I loved my stay at the Arias and will go back.
“Nice B&B”
Beautiful Place, Outstanding Chef, Will Definately Return
“quiet paradise”
If you want glitz glamour and fights for pool chairs this is not the place for you. However, if you want to relax and enjoy quiet surroundings this is just th right spot. Eleven individual bungalow type rooms surround a jacuzzi and lounge pool, near the main house is a garden delight with a large swimming pool. Thatched hut sitting areas, plenty of lounge chairs. No one is serving you $12.00 drinks but you can make them yourself in your room. Water and Lemonade is available 24hrs a day by the main pool. Beds are sooo comfortable, kitchenette is ample, the shower is solar heatd, like showering in the ocean, but th caveat is the two outdoor showers. These have hot water, showering in the evening under the stars is the most incredible experience, and no waiting as on may think. Arias and his wife Flory make the most gracious hosts, bending over backwards to do whatevr they can to make your trip truly remarkable. Breakfast is served daily, nothing glamourous, but a good start to a busy, or not so busy day. Arias lets you know where all the great local resturants (read--inexpensive) are and the quiet uncrowded beaches. You can borrow chairs, snorkel equipment, and coolers to make your beach day very comfortable. No hidden fees, Try his rhino tour, an all day 0600 to1400 tour with snorkel stops and kite flying and a great little lunch stop (on your own) can't be missed. If you want the real Aruba this is the place
“Great Stay”
My wife and I recently spent a week in Aruba ( we rented a friend timeshare). Because I booked our flight for the wrong days, we arrived a day early. We stayed 1 night at Club Arias. This was a great place. Arias and his wife go out of their way to make your stay perfect. This is a great place to just kick back and relax. The rooms are clean, the grounds are beautiful, plenty of chairs to lounge on. Two pools, one for swimming, and 1 for lounging. Great amemities, free calls to the states, lemonade, iced tea, and water available all day. Breakfast is included, and excellent. Gabriel the chef cooks breakfast to order and does it well. If you just want to get away, enjoy the sun, and relax this is the place.
“Arubas hidden gem”
We travel frequently (3 large trips/year) and always take reviews with a grain of salt. When I saw Club Arias on Expedia, I read all the reviews and checked out Trip Advisor also. I was suprised that all the reviews were positive- EVERY person was happy with their stay? Yeah right! Then we went...YES, we were really happy with our stay, and glad to add to the positive reviews of Club Arias! There is lots of privacy if that is what you want, but can chat with fellow travelers if that is your hearts desire. The atmosphere is very relaxed, but has wonderful service. Be sure to take the Rhino Tour of Aruba with Gio! We had been to Aruba 4 or 5 times before, but Gio knew where to take us that we had not experienced before. Yes, Club Arias is away from the hotel zone (thank goodness!) but has personalized service and elegant touches that makes you feel more like a friend than a room number. Thanks guys for making our 10th anniversary trip a delight!
“We're Booking Our Return Trip Right Now.”
Two things are for certain; Aruba is *the* island to visit, and Club Arias is *the* place to stay. If you want to truly be treated like a guest of the island, meet and hang out with other guests, and feel like you are at home while in Aruba, Club Arias is for you. I am on a gluten-free diet – I brought some dough mix and pasta with me to the island, and Chef Gabriel took great pleasure in creating fantastic gluten-free pancakes, pizza and pasta. Gabriel’s dining experiences are not to be missed, and he is assuredly the most personable Chef you will meet (and hang out with for a few hours after dinner)! The Rhino tour is the only way to see the island – a Jeep or bus tour will not do the island justice. Plus you’re only with one or two other couples – it’s a very personalized and intimate tour. Gio will quickly become your friend, and take you on one of the most beautiful and exciting tours that you will ever experience. We were going to rent a car, but between hitching a ride with a great couple that we met at Club Arias, and the bus service, we decided not to. The friendly, comfortable atmosphere that Arias, his family, and his staff have worked so diligently to create and maintain is absolutely second to none. This place is not for everyone – but that’s what makes it so great!
“Awesome people. Awesome hotel.”
After having landed in Aruba at 11pm I reviewed the reservation and noticed that I was supposed to have called 48 hours in advance to confirm our arrival. It went on to say that the reservation desk at the hotel closed at 7:30pm. Needless to say, I freaked out. When we arrived, Arias was cheerful and happy to show us to our room. I was so relieved when Arias said "No problem" and handed me apple pie to enjoy. The room was big and the bed was super comfortable. The property itself was well kept with plenty of spaces to relax. The breakfast Gabriel, the resident executive chef, made a delicious omelet and gave a ride to our next destination in the afternoon. Great people, great space, great island overall. Highly recommend this hotel.
“Great experience”
This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast and we loved it! The staff was always there to help if we needed anything, but without being intrusive. We plan to go back in the future!
“Comfort~~~better than home.”
Club Arias is nothing short of your very own oasis. Upon our arrival, we were met with a staff member who already knew it was us because of prior phone calls. During those prior phone calls we were advised of many ways to cut our cost as Aruba is quite expensive. The advice kept going daily. We were met with not a what can we do attitude but what can we do better. It was as if we had our own personal tour guide right there (but not additional fees). The grounds were large but intimate. Very private for anyone planning a special occasion but it also had things such as the slide into the pool for the children. No need to worry about drinks as they supply water and lemonade every day, along with a 4pm pastry. The rooms was very well kept with nice fixtures and linen. Keep in mind that you surrounded by water so you will have a water dehumidifier in your room to keep the moisture down. Remember to empty it daily. It was a great added bonus that only Arias would think of. Since he is a local, he has a list of local restaurants at good prices for Aruba. I recommend getting his list.. While we were there, they invited the guest and some locals to got to one of the restaurants. What an experience. After 10 years of marriage, 5 children, 7 cats and 2 dogs, I would come back here to get away again.
