“kitchen from hell”

very old hotel but very cozy,breakfast is at 6;30 am not before if the cook has it ready by 6;15 am the food you still cant go serve yourself till 6;30am NOT RIGHT,i was on the run at 6;20 am to go catch my cab to go to airport, and i was refused to serve myself the hot breakfast by the kitchen staff rudely because it wasnt 6;30 yet,i told her i'm on the run in 15 minutes and the food is ready and she said sorry but you can have a muffin or banana,the hot food cant be serve before 6;30am and it was already in the hot plate to get served!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISAPPOINTING ON THE KITCHEN STAFF but the rest of hotel staff are super nice,,,i will not stay there in future on my next visit as a buisiness man i will stay at other locations in the future in savannah

I stayed with my 2 young daughters and we really enjoyed our stay. Easy walking distance to all the shops and bay. Great breakfast. Staff was friendly. Nice clean room.

“A Shining Star in Savannah”

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is centrally located to the Riverfront. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast served every morning was good, with a nice variety of food choices. The evening snack, held 3 nights per week, was a pleasant surprise. The concierge was very helpful with information about different tours, sites and transportation, including the free bus services. The complete (but small) kitchen in our room was a good way to save on restaurant expences.

“Couldn't ask for anything more”

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, from July 5 to the 12th. We were impressed the moment we walked in the door. We arrived a few hours early, but the front desk secured our bags and suggested some things to do. They also gave us a map and pointed a few more things out. Once we did get into our room we were really impressed. We had a suite with a kitchenette. It was great. The mattress felt brand now. A real thermostat not just a dial on a wall unit. The entire staff was extremely friendly and willing to answer questions or help us with anything we needed. They offer a really nice free breakfast, and it changes a bit each morning. They also offer a free Sundowner 3 days a week with free drinks and snacks. Also free fountain drinks and water 24/7. They also have a free guest laundry which was great. The concierge, Jennifer, was really great. She's from Savannah and can answer any questions. She helped us book several tours, as well as getting us some great dinner reservations. She let them know we were on our honeymoon and had one of the best dinners. Also the hotel couldn't be located any better in the historic district. Initially we were worried when we saw some attractions were 10 blocks away, but the blocks in the Historic District are small and everything is within easy walking distance. I really can not think of anything bad to say about our stay here. We plan on staying here whenever we return to Savannah. This place was absolutely great!!!
