“nice but a little expensive!!”

room was very nice but a little pricey.Also when making reservations I was told we would have an ocean view but all we could see was the swimmimg pools.

“Lovely spot at Tybee”

Recently had a short stay at Tybee Beach Resort. Check-in staff was helpful and accomodating, the condo was clean, comfortable and we had a lovely view of the ocean! The pool was heated and clean, the poolside bar a nice feature. Really enjoyed our short stay!

“condo was great! customer service lacking”

Not very helpful at front desk for first time guest. Condo was great except for dirty floor, had to wear shoes inside.

“Decent but not as clean as it could be.”

The unit my family stayed in was decent enough and well decorated but not very clean. The mattresses were worn out. I would suggest the facility supply some types of cleaning supplies just to keep it up during the visit. I used washcloths from the bathroom to keep the kitchen counters and sink area cleaned up. There were only enough towels for our family of six to use once and each had to be reused several times. Another suggestion is to provide daily maid service to replace the towels. We were not happy to pay the $100.00 fee and not have daily maid service. As per the checkout instructions, we did have to clean the place ourselves before we left. What was the cleaning fee for, exactly??

“Great location is the only thing that this hotel has going for it... Stay somewhere else”

We stayed here due to the pricing deal we got and the location to the beach. When we arrived, the front desk made an error with the billing and asked me to pay double the amount we were promised by Expedia. I had my expedia paperwork, thank goodness, and the hotel front desk clerk said that it was her mistake. They did not charge us the doubled amount. That was a bit frustrating and they openly expressed their disgust for Expedia. I did not find that very welcoming. The hotel condo room was roomy, which was nice. It did have a lot of areas in which lights did not work and the walls were chipped. The bed was horrible. My husband and I could barely sleep at all in the bed. The TV's were very small in size. I will say the good thing going for this hotel is the location; it is right on the beach. Very nice. The hotel shower was huge!! The jet-tub was great as well, although it was very tall. Pros: Roomy, Great bathroom, great location, great kitchen Cons: Front Desk Service, Price too high for room unless you can get a great rate from Expedia, Taking out your own trash before you check out is a requirement as well as taking off all linens of the bed and washing all of the dishes that you used, lots of areas that needed improvement, chipped paint, lights did not work, shower floor needed cleaning. Overall: We won't be staying at this hotel again.
