“It was a great place for a weekend getaway”
I specificlly booked the hotel because of the indoor pool and jacuzzi; therefore, I was quite disappointed to find neither one of them was working and had to go outside to use another hotel's facilities; otherwise, my stay was great. I would definitely recommend it to friends and families.
“The Standard for Me”
Hotel was very well maintained and room was clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Suite was beautiful. Ammenities included: Kitchen sink (with garbage disposal), dish washer (with supplied dishwashing powder), microwave, stove, coffee maker, dishes, silverware. Living area had couch and chair, desk with chair, dining table with two chairs and television. Bedroom area had clean beds with very comfortable mattresses, pillows, etc. Bathroom shower featured a shower seat. No tub. There is a hot tub/sauna onsite, a pool, and 24 hour gym. When we decided to stay an additional night (our third night of this trip), the staff was very accomodating. Our current suite was already booked, so they worked hard to get us another suite that would be ready for us to move into immediately. One of the girls from the front desk even came up and helped us relocate our luggage to the new suite! Upon leaving, one of the maintenance guys helped us carry out our luggage and load it in the car. I highly recommend this hotel. It has set the new standard for me of what a hotel, its ammenities, and staff should be. It will be extremely difficult to go back to anything less.
“Beautiful Valley Views”
This hotel was very convenient to both Wilkes/Barre and Scranton areas. We actually were visiting Dallas, Pa. There is a Fridays within walking distance. The morning breakfast was fine and they had plenty for all. The views of the surrounding valley are beautiful!
“Will keep coming back”
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and it just keeps getting better. There are two personnel that MUST be recognized for their outstanding professional and courteous attitude and they ar APRIL AND JASMINE they went out of their way to accomodate us when there was a change in our reservation due to last minute changes at the hotel and also during our stay. I also have to commend EXPEDIA for their attempts to notify us of the change and then contacted the hotel when they couldn't contact us (we were already enroute to our destination). Outstanding -will keep using EXPEDIA and this hotel.
“Great location at a great price!”
We stayed one night at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. It's close to all kinds of shopping and restaraunts and very convenient. The room was comfortable for 4 of us and the Fridays delivery service was really convenient! The breakfast was pretty decent and the staff was almost too helpful! We will definitely go back!
“GreatStay”
Our stay at this hotel was outstanding in every aspect,from check in to check out. The lady at the front desk ( I can't remember names) was very courteous and professional and it seemed couldn't do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. The location is great and walking distance to a TGI Fridays where the service and food is great. I WILL DEFINITELY BE STAYING HERE AGAIN.
“Excellent hotel with exceptional service and huge room”
We stayed at this hotel for one night and found that we really were given a suite (complete with effective cooking facilities), and it was a bonus to have a swimming pool which the children enjoyed. The breakfast buffet, and the service with it were also very good. I must highlight the special service that was given to us by April - she helped me to reunite my younger son with his Nintendo DS which he left behind in a small bag at the hotel - we didn't realise until we were many miles away in Buffalo. April arranged for Fedex to ship my son's belongings on to another hotel that we stayed at some days later. We are extrememly grateful for this.

“A :MUST STAY HERE" Hotel”
The staff ,room etc. is outstanding- The location is convienent to eating and shopping. I will always use this hotel when I travel here.
“Surprisingly satisfied”
Wasn't expecting much when i booked at what seemed to be a very reasonable rate compared to other "suite" hotels in the immediate area, but upon arrival was pleasantly satisfied with the cleanliness of our suite and the hotel in general. Staff was polite and very accomodating to our needs and requests. Hotel was conveniently located to both the Mohegan Sun Arena and to the casino, and there were numerous restaurants to choose from within a short distance from the hotel, several even within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and will likely return when making my next trip to Wilkes-Barre, PA
