“Nice simple place to stay!”
Easy to find, excellent English spoken by the staff, room was neat and clean. Recently refurbished I believe. Wifi worked in room on 5th floor no problem. Breakfast was fresh and good quality. Only probelm was the noise in the street at night. Motorbikes and kids yelling. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice view over the Seine
“It worth the value you pay for it”
People very friendly. Apartments without carpet, good for allergic people.
“Tiny Triple Room”
Stayed here last week for two nights in a triple room with a double bed and one single bed. Likes: 1) Proximity to Notre Dame cathedral and Rouen shops 2) Front desk staff was courteous and spoke English well 3) Price 4) Wifi in room worked well Dislikes: 1) Very little floor space 2) no a/c 3) pillows were flat as a pancake 4) had only 2 bath towels in 3 person room - when we asked for another they said hotel was full and they had no more towels! 5) TV had very few channels 6) small bathroom 7) breakfast was minimal - no meat, no eggs, very few choices
“Not a nice part of Rouen”
I have now been told by many people that there aren't many decent places to stay in Rouen. Coeur de Rouen must be an example of this. We had problems even confirming our reservation. We arrived towards evening and the area seemed really sketchy (I know it is close to the Cathederal but that is not in the nicest part of Rouen. Room was small but clean. However it was overlooking some all night party place -- looks like a pub but crowds of loud people hung out until the wee hours. No temperature control in the building and we had to keep our windows closed because of the noise.

Very basic rooms -the shower was far too small -buffet breakfast was ok
