“very good choice”
At first, I was disappointed with the distance from the historical district of Rouen,but the metro was a short walk away....3 stops and we were where we wanted to be...great. The area by the hotel had a beautifl old church,so picturesque and cafes,flowers,shops,street market and a McDonalds so close for a great latte.....loved the area for a morning stroll before taking the metra to the musems and churches of Rouen...couldn't have been better.,
“Excellent value”
Excellent value hotel, and in a good convenient location as far as my wife and I were concerned, it is however about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the real places to be Rouen where the attractions and restaurants are to be found, but we booked knowing this. Right next door to a shopping centre with car park that has the barriers open on Sundays, so if you park there you can take a ticket on the way in and you do not need to pay for your stay if departing on a Sunday. Didn,t have breakfast but places right outside for breakfast, just take a kettle and ingredients if you want to brew up in your room.
“Best value for money”
Great value for money. Very comfortable and clean, well situated just 10 to 15 min walking from centre and staff very helpful and friendly. It has parking where you can safely leave your car at night. Highly recommended.
“Overnight Accommodation”
We had a problem with our electricity and did have to ask to be moved. They were aware of the problem and did not follow through. Apart from this we had a comfortable stay overnight. It was nice to have the car park easily accessed from the hotel. There is no restaurant from Friday lunch time to Sunday evening which is inconvenient when having travelled a distance.
“Very difficult to find and the bathroom was freezing cold!”
The staff is the best part of this hotel. Location was good however is very difficult to find I think the site should explain better how to locate the hotel. The room was small but clean and as we were staying for only 1 night it was ok. However, the shower room was freezing cold, the window was only single glazed. The shower itself looked quite dodgy and it definetly in need of replacement. Despite the friendly staff and good location I would not recommend this hotel at all.
“Not impressed at all.”
Almost impossible to get to, with no restaurant at weekends, and not particularly helpful staff, this hotel is not as good as several years ago, when we stayed there. We will not be going back, nor will we recommend it, as we used to.
