“ShanghaiF1”
This hotel is in a central location and close to many attractions. The hotel staff is very helpful and responsive. The room was of good size with all amenities. I will stay at this hotel again and do recommend it.
“Highly recommended”
Great location. Exceptional service. Rooms are huge. Extremely good value for money.
“Excellent Hotel”
The hotel is extremely well position being only a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway. The hotel is also in a nice part of the city with good bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Both rooms we had were extremely comfortable and they were both cleaned out and re-stocked on a daily basis. Chamber maids would call daily to see if everything was O.K. Swimming pool was excellent and the gym was well equipped. The only downside was that you had to pay the equivalent of 12 pounds per person per day to use the spa, jacuzzi and saunas etc. Definitely would recommend this hotel and I would use it again.
“best Hotel in Shanghai?”
This hotel is close to the subway, always excellent service, I have stayed maybe 10 times now and it is consistently great. Staff are always friendly and helpful, those guys on the door will hail you a cab in a jiffy!
“Great Shanghai Hotel”
This hotel is great. there service is alsways good, and it is well located to the metro and close to good shopping. highly recommend it for tourist and business stays
“Best deal in Shanghai”
I have stayed at the Equatorial Hotel many times over the past 10 years and have found the hotel to offer everything I am looking for in a Hotel. Among other things they are constantly ahead of the curve, upgrading and replacing ahead of anyone noticing that it is a time for upgrade.
“1st class western style hotel”
First time to China; this place was superb in all respects, and extremely good value.
“Great Value”
Stayed in a suite for 8 days, very large, two bathrooms, great value - very very happy
“Nice, but doesn't cater to the english speaker”
The hotel was nice, clean, and reasonable. However, it was not very close to the attractions that I wanted to go to. There was no conciege so no help in getting around or finding resturants. The resturants in the hotel were only so-so.
“good enough”
Although it is not a five-star hotel like the Hilton next door, but it is good enough for the price. Love the location.
