“Great Hotel!!!”
The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the city and the Bund. The hotel provided pretty much everything from water bottles, toothbrush w/ toothpaste, comb, a shaver w/ gel, a nail clipper and much much more. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!!
“One of the best hotel experiences you can have”
Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai is one of the best hotel experiences I've had. Service is impeccable and the staff stands ready to accommodate every need. Dining options in the hotel are fantastic.
“THE BEST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME”
i AM REALLY IMPRESSED WITH PUDONG SHANGRI-LA. BEING A FREQUENT TRAVELER, TRAVELING APPROX. 5 MONTHS IN A YEAR AND STAYING AT DIFFERENT HOTELS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD CONTINUOUSLY I FIND MYSELF RATHER SOPHISTICATED RE MY SATISFACTION WITH THE HOTELS. THIS TIME IN SHANGRI-LA PUDONG I FOUND MYSELF TOTALLY SATISFIED. THIS WAS THE BEST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME.

“Very nice hotel”
Definitely an enjoyable stay. Never really had any problems with the Shangri-La chain any where. As usual, the rooms are very spacious. I believe I stayed in the newer tower but have stayed at both towers previously. I stayed at the Grand Hyatt a few days later and while not as over the top extravagant, I think the Shangri-La is better value (and it has an ironing board and iron, unlike the Grand Hyatt - I believe the tv was better - ie. flat screen, at the Shangri-La too although, why would you be watching tv when you can be out and about exploring the city??). I would recommend the Shangri-La as a top end hotel with a great reputation and a safe bet regardless of which city you are in.
“Best Business Hotel”
THis hotel is elegant, comfortable and friendly. The lobby area has a great tea bar and high tea is done with extreme professionalism that I conducted 2 meetings right there. The rooms are great. Bedding is soft and luxurious and the views of the Bund are breath taking. I recommend this hotel highly. As for cost, I got a better deal on Expedia than on the properties website.

“Top class accomodation”
Tower 2 is the new side of the hotel with rooms super comfortable. Hotel is 2 minute walk from the metro line that has direct service to Pudong airport ,the very high speed train and famous Nanjing Lu. Hotel is also by the river which allows for night stolls facing the Bund and is close to the pier here night cruise ships depart. Hotel is next to the famous building PEARL and international luxury good shops. Crossing to the Bund and to the Older Shanghai can be difficult by taxi during commuter/rush hour. Taxis are cheap but it may take you 30 mins + while the metro next to the hotel will bring you to Nanjing Lu and the center of tourist attractions within 10 mins.
“Superb Pudong Shanghai Hotel”
I will be coming back to the Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai. The hotel is very clean and is always inviting to come into because of its distinctive aroma and grand foyer. The hotel is very convenient to subway and near the Shanghai Pearl Tower. During my stay I felt good coming back after a long day of work / sight seeing.
