“FANTASTIC VALUE!!”

After 13 days at World Wide Chain properties(and prices) this hotel was an incredible combination of location (A++) , service(A++) and value(A+++++++++++++++++). Don't let first impressions of tyhe neighbourhood fool you, the service and facility are first rate, the subway (Nanpu Bridge - Line 4) a mere 8 min walk and a " Trust Mart"(Chinese wal mart affiliate) 3 min walk for drinks, snacks and camera batteries!)The staff is great , a cab no problem(they go out and get it for you) and wild silk stores right across the street and a indoor clothing market just down the street - extremely hard to beat!

“Great Value”

Located next to the Soft Spinning Material Market, in between two metro lines, bank and a supermarket. The beds are hard. Overall this hotel exceeded all expectations and is a great value.

“Good value and quite neighborhood”

Good value, got the hotel when they had the stay 3 night got one night free. It is cheaper than most of the hotel with equal quality. The location is off in the more residential area, and it is more like a apartment building than hotel. It still convienient, but not too noisy, safe neighborhood. The hotel rooms are on the small side, but it is good enough. Clean, and the staff are friendly, free internet in the lobby and free shoe shine machine. Free parking if you have a rental car, but it is really close to bus station, and 10 min to the subway.

“Can't wait to go back.”

It is great. They have restaurant at hotel. They provide internet and newspaper. They upgrade my room free with kitchen. The room is very clean. But foreign exchange can be done at the street corner bank. Walk 5 minutes to metro. Fresh fruits nearby

“Great hotel for the price”

I booked a 10 nights stay in December 2012 based on price and the hotel's proximity to central Shanghai attractions like The Bund, Nanjing Lu etc. Good points - Room was an adequate size, bed was comfortable and not rock hard in the slightest. Shower was great. Heating and cooling when required. - Nanpu Bridge metro station only a few minutes away - General cleaniness was good. - Fridge, personal safe, free bottled water, slippers included. - Shops and fast food restaurants close by. - HSBC cash machine close by. Bad points -Traffic noise Minor quibbles which may bother some people but not me personally:- - some bath towels were frayed. - balcony window was dirty. - view from balcony window could be described as old slum housing? - some nooks and crannies in bathroom could be cleaner. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would happily stay here again.

“Can't wait to go back, the best hotel in its price range.”

The hotel is centrally located, you can go any where in Shanghai in few minutes , the taxi service and metro line is very handy. There is shanghai's biggest clothing market just less then 50 yards away, you can get made to measure suit for men and women, in one day, and do remember to heggal the price, the hotel is very neat and very close all you need, th ebusiness distric of Pu-dong is about 20 minutes in taxi and only abourt 30 RMB ( chineese yen ) The Pu-dond airport is only 45 minutes and about 160 RMB, I thing we were lucky to be ib that hotel and when i booked i did discuss with one of the operator of Expedia, i was surprised to see the location of the hotel. I recommend every body who go to Shanghai. Many thanks to Expedia for this hotel.

“very happy with hotel”

Very nice room, well cleaned, very hot water with very good pressure. The only downside was the lack of good television stations, but only looked at the television one of my ten nights.
