“Fantastic Hotel.”
The hotel is central to the main shopping area just outside the train station door. The hotel is beautiful, and offers many differnt services the guests, the rooms are lovely and big. Clean, modern and quite. Directly across the road for the market. I have stayed there many times, and become a member of the chain, it is a great place to stay in Shenzehen
“About to book it again!”
I've stayed at this property twice. Both times the front desk has talked me into upgrading and I was glad I did. It is not a cheap hotel dollarwise but it's lovely and the executive floor provides snackies and drinks all day. The downstairs breakfast buffet is unbelievable and one of the best anywhere. The hotels close proximity to the market, the train station and transportation back to HK is really great.
“Great Hotel - Best location in Shenzhen !”
The Shangri-La, Shenzhen is in the ideal location if traveling to or from Hong Kong, as it is located opposite Louhu station which is the gateway to Hong Kong via the MTR rail link. There is also an indoor shopping centre with over 2000 small shops selling 'replica' branded goods. If your a westerner then it can be a bit tiresome fending off the people wanting to take you to their shop. You can walk a couple of hundred yards in the opposite direction and a wider range of shops where you are not bothered so much. If you are going to the International Exhibition centre then it is only a few stops on the underground and costs about 30p each way. The hotel itself was everything that I was hoping for and more. The staff all speak good English and you only have to walk near the reception and they are straight on to your needs. The room was clean with a wide screen TV, and all bedding and laundry was changed every day. The rooms dont have Wi-Fi - rather they have a hardwired ethernet cable. This is fine for a laptop, but with an iphone needed to buy myself a cheap wireless router for £20 and plugged that in. Speed of the internet connection was good. In summary I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again.
“good stopping place”
At the Lo Wu station, great service, 35 minutes (no traffic) to Shenzhen airport. Hotel is clean and comfortable, internet is fast. Service is good.
“Great ambience”
The lobby is immaculate. When I arrived their was a choir on the stairwell singing Christmas Carols. Also, my flight was delayed so they delayed my arrival to the hotel.
“Best Ever”
Outstanding service from the moment I arrived. Having stayed in hotels across the world the Shangrila rates as one of the best I have had the pleasure of experiecing. Definitely try the Horizon floors as this truely was value for money. I look forward to returning to the Shangrila in Sept. P.S. Just a stone throw from Luhou Shopping Centre too!

“An oasis”
A lovely hotel in the middle of chaos ie Lowu Shopping Centre. Would recommend it and if you join Shangri La Club a fantastic breakfast experience is half price
