“Best service, wonderful experience!”
Love the hotel, especially the service, hotel staff is very well trained in many ways...
“A great hotel”
The Angkor Palace Resort and Spa is a 5 star hotel and it was a lovely start to our 25 day trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. The room was large with a great bathroom and a view over the pool and gardens. A guests we were given a good discount at the spa. The gym was very good and as was the breakfast. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool and also at the bar upon return from dinner in town. The staff were very friendly and professional. Great value for money.
“Good Hotel - Great Experience”
Courteous staff. Good sized rooms. Well maintained property and clean rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Business center basic but functional. Pool and water very clean and good. In all, a very nice experience. Will definitely stay there if we go back to Siem Reap.
“A Yankee in the Orient”
The Ankor Palace Resort & Spa is a wonderful place to call your temporary home while exploring the wonders of Siem Reap. The staff makes the hotel amazing, they are warm, ever courtieous, and sweet people, always prepared to make excellent recommendations or accomodations to make your stay a pleasant experience. For a minimal fee of $20/day (from early morning to late at night) you can have a tuk tuk driver all to yourself to take you to the temples, the town, and the best restaurants and shopping. I would recommend a tuk tuk to a driver and guide (which cost $70 for about 5 hours of touring), they are more personable and want to make you happy not make money. The hotel is lovely, and at night, the call of frogs and geckos complement a sweet smelling breeze and light rain. The swim up bar is a lovely addition, as well! A great stay, and after traveling the world for the past 20 years, I can say it is in the top 2 hotels I have ever stayed in. When we come back, we will definitely be staying in the Angkor Palace Resort and Spa! O-kun!
“nice place with great rooms”
The hotel is a nice resort type with very big and nice rooms. İt has very nice welcome with the staff and lobby. You can take a tuk tuk or taxi to go everywhere for 3 dollars. Do not change for lokal money have small amounts of dollar it works everywhere. Visit spa it is a must after all the places in hot weather
“Five star in an unexpected place”
This hotel is more like a resort - away from the traffic, with extensive gardens and a large pool, it is absolutely top quality in all respects. Try to avoid rush hour at breakfast when the groups are there, but five minutes after the rush is over, tranqulity is restored. A big plus is free internet, wireless in the public areas and by network (cable supplied) in the rooms.
“Excellent Choice”
Recently stayed with family (3 rooms) for two days at the Angkor Palace Resort Spa while visiting the ruins at Angkor Wat. We were very satisfied with the entire experience. We were there in the off season so it was a very good value. Landscaping is gorgeous, the swimming pool is large and perfectly maintained and the rooms are attrative and comfortable. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. From arrival through to checkout it was a pleasure. This hotel is a well managed, well maintained and quiet oasis being located on the outskirts of the city.
“Loved Angkor Palace”
Great location just a short ride from the airport and from downtown Siem Reap, yet off the main road so very private and quiet. Staff is superior. We had a suite and were surprised when we arrived that it has an extra powder room with a large sink and an extra toilet in addition to the spacious full bath off the bedroom. Pool and swim-up bar are the perfect place after a long hot day at the temples. The breakfast buffet is awesome. We used the spa once - great facility and very reasonable prices with special deals at certain times of day. We all agree that we would stay here again.
“lovely hotel, great guide service with mr ho”
very nice hotel great service and tranquil grounds super guide service with mr ho and driver awesome sites to visit
“Would go back in a heartbeat”
We stayed 5 nights at this hotel(mid January 2009). Booked the package (flight & hotel) through expedia - our first time to use it - excellent service. No matter how tired you get back from a full day of exploring the temples, this resort has its own way of reviving you: the landscape (ponds with colorful fish), the lovely huge garden, the impeccable room, the spa, enjoying cocktails by the pool while watching the sunset. The Cambodian people we met were friendly and had a dignified attitude. The staff was very attentive and contributed to our comfortable stay. Hope to be back again. The entire Angkor area is overwhelming and 5 days were not enough.
