We loved this hotel. The place is beautiful and the staff was always there to help. We had free Tuk Tuk service into town so we did not mind that the hotel was not walking distance to town. Breakfast was great and we would stay here again.

Personalised and Impeccable Service by Anantara
Personalised: we felt at home right away from the minute we were picked up from the airport by a chauffeur in a car equipped with wifi and refreshment. Received immediately by the manager and after a quick tour we were given a wonderful welcoming feet wash at their spa - so refreshing! Room refreshment was all free with refillable crackers and peanuts, with free glow soft drinks and drinking water . A surprise breakfast picnic basket was ready to accompany us to Angkor Wat Sunrise tour the next day. It was a lovely gesture indeed Impeccable- housekeeping was a 10; free tut-tut to market and pub street at any time. The reception and staff always so helpful and genuinely friendly at ALL TIMES. The Spa was totally amazing with a 1 plus one free offer which ended up to be very reasonable. Thank you Anantara Siem Reap for your amazing hospitality! **Dr Maison Rahman

Beautiful small resort that is quiet and classy. The staff is the best feature, proximity to the airport, sites and downtown are also worthy to mention. All the recommendations from staff were spot on, our private tour of Angkor Wat arranged by the hotel was expensive, but well worth it for this being our first visit. We mentioned at breakfast that this trip was sort of an anniversary present to both of us and that night we came back to find a cake and bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room. The only negative was the description in Expedia mentioned memory foam mattresses, and this was not available. They tried to correct by immediately installing a mattress topper. Just an example of the prompt attention by the staff. Another feature I liked was the cell phone they gave us with all contact details for the hotel installed to use for our stay. Will definitely come back.

The perfect spot
The resort is gorgeous and the employees are wonderful — very helpful and eager to help. The meal we ate at the hotel was our favorite, hands down. Our stay was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport at no charge. This was all well arranged in advance. Upon reception we were met by a friendly staff. As part of the reception we were given a foot bath and a glass of delicious ginger and lime drink. We enjoyed the many complimentary items such as the mini-bar, including snacks and beer. In the evening a small sweet was left in our room which made the perfect dessert. There is a free tuktuk service to and from anywhere in town. The driver was very nice and accommodating. This range of complimentary services is rare. Most hotels hit you with extra charges for almost everything and the charges are usually excessive. This aspect of the hotel really left a nice feeling. I think it is a big payoff in guest satisfaction at a relatively small cost for the hotel. We stayed at Anantara Riverside in Bangkok and Anantara Bhoput Koh Samui. We like these a lot. However, we felt Anantara Angkor was better in both service and in the quality of the rooms. The rooms are beautifully laid out. Most hotels have rooms that are long and narrow with a small glass area to the outside. That is because it is the most economical way to get that space. The Anantara Angkor rooms were not like that. They had a long wall of glass to the outside. Rounded open space has more light and a better feel & is more convenient. Floors, doors & dividers are beautiful hardwood of top quality. No space to finish this reveiw.

Amazing hotel! The staff is highly professional, friendly and genuinely kind. We would recommend this hotel- you will be sorry to leave them! The facilities are very nice. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Chi restaurant is delicious, and the staff is attentive to cater to your every need! They will go above and beyond. Really good for people who suffer from food allergies. The Chef went to source gluten free soya sauce, baked yummy cookies and adapted any dish I wanted to cater to my gluten allergy. Do try the various activities offered - dining by design (so romantic and magica!), cooking class with the Chef and the tours! They can cater to couples, families and single travellers. Also head into the spa for a truly wonderful massage! The rice body scrub and the dragon fruit wrap are also incredible. Thank you for our incredible holiday!

All in all is excellent. I would like to thank the team for the suprior service and the attention provided to the quality of every room. Offerening a transportation service free of charge is worth highlighting and providing a local mobile phone for each room is very helpful. As an extra note it is worth to install a washing hose at the toilet basin seat.

Anantara Angkor is probably the nicest hotel that I've ever stayed at. The location is great, as are the amenities and room, but it's the services that *really* stands out. From the moment we arrived, till the moment we were dropped off at the hotel, the staff continued to delight us by taking care of anything we needed with a genuine smile on their face. A boutique property with large comfortable rooms. The best part was the personalised service. The operations manager and his team were continuously on the go to ensure each guest was well taken care off at all times. Perfect getaway for a long weekend
We visited during a very quiet time, mid-August for 4 nights. Not many guests during this period and fortunate almost no rain except the afternoon when we left. The hotel was generous enough to have a very late checkout. The restaurant food and service was very good, as was the front desk who really went out of their way to assist us with tours, spa service and trips into town.It was a perfect getaway for us two busy working executives. Although the wi-if was good we both managed to keep the laptop off and doing work.

Bucket list - Siam Reap temples and resort spa
It was an amazing experience to wander the Siem Reap ancient temples, many of which are being slowly eaten by the Cambodian jungle. we went in late September, before the peak season and were extremely glad wee did. We had no rain, and no crowds. Many photos had no people I them and you could often find yourself wandering alone. The Cambodian people were amongst the friendliest and most helpful of anywhere we have traveled. The Service was great and the guides are unimposing and very knowledgeable. The people are just glad you've come to visit and very proud of their country and tourist sites. The food and night atmosphere at the night market and around pub street are fantastic. The hotels are in really good condition, clean and well maintained. The site photos are accurate.

The service was great. Since we stayed there one whole week, the chef was willing to prepare some foods at our request. That was very nice of them.

Favorite hotel in Siem Reap
I've been to quite a few expensive hotels in Siem Reap, and this was definitely the best all around. The food is excellent but suffers from limited selection, so I only stayed 3 days, but after transfering to a similarly priced hotel, I wished I didn't leave.

Exceptional Hotel
It was our first time to Cambodia. Our stay at the Anantara could not have been better. The level of service was exceptional. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, pleasant, and eager to assist in making any plans you need to make your stay more comfortable, enjoyable, and seemless. I would definitely return for another stay and would highly recommend to any friends and family.

I rarely write a review about any hotel (good or bad), but this hotel definitely deserves an awesome review. They provide excellent, personalized service. Everyone offers a friendly, welcoming smile. I could not write enough good things about it. If you are looking for a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing hotel, look no more! Everything about it was great! Just book it! I had small issues in my room which were quickly taken care off. And they took nothing away from my stay, as their super attentive service made up for any inconvenience I might have had. I had an issue with my flight and they quickly helped me through it, even without me asking for any help. Their service is impeccable! You won't regret staying here. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. If I go back to Siem Reap, I would not stay anywhere else. To the manager and rest of the staff, THANK YOU!!!

Recent stay at the Anantara Siem Reap
had a wonderful stay at the Anantara, the staff were outstanding in every way and could not be more helpful. The room was nice and the food was really good, but it was the really the hotel staff that made the difference - they arranged tours to the temples for us which could not have been better

An unexpected gem.
This is a boutique hotel consisting of 39 rooms. I had booked the Anantara suite but was upgraded to the Sothea suite upon arrival. We were greeted with a lovely and refreshing welcome drink and sweet treat as well as refreshing towels. Our host, Pari, was warm and friendly and made us feel immediately at home. The room itself is amazing: spacious, with an ensuite in room massage/Jacuzzi area, as well as a separate shower/bathroom area. On The room also came with a separate library/alternate dining room next to it. Wifi/internet connection in the room was good. Amenities were sufficient for the three of us. The food selection for in room dining and in the restaurants were good, altho a wider choice would have been great. The most outstanding thing about this hotel is its staff. The service was par excellence, from the reception to maintenance(we had an initial problem with our room door) to housekeeping to dining to the tuk tuk/van drivers. Special thanks to Pari, Fung and Peter for making our stay just a little more special :)

Hotel staffs were friendly and willing to serve. But the hotel is not very well maintenanced and dusty as it is located right on highway 6.

Nice small hotel with great pool
My husband and our 10 year old son stayed at the Anantara for 4 nights. This was our first time to Siem Reap and I choose Anantara as we had stayed at other Anantara properties. The hotel is small with a nice pool. Rooms don't easily accommodate clothes as there isn't a dresser. Overall nice hotel.

Beautiful Hotel
Gorgeous hotel. An oasis of calm and tranquility in a busy noisy town. Only downside was that when I asked for free transfer from the airport I was offered one for $35 dollars. I declined and got airport taxi for $7 dollars - not a good first impression!

Very good service, Excellent Hotel
The staff and their attention to our needs was excellent. The hotel itself is a pleasure to stay in. The area around the hotel is not typically that for a Western expat, with plenty of Chinese, Korean and local restaurants (the assumption here is that Western expats who are paying the amount that Anatara charges would not eat street food for every meal). Anantara offers free transportation into the city for free but ends the service at 2230. One word of caution that TOTALLY left a bad taste after our overall wonderful stay. The flights out of REP are usually later in the day and we took advantage of the "Late/Extended Checkout" package (80USD plus 15% tax). However, each time we needed a ride into town (two times) we were asked to pay 3 USD since "the transportation is no longer free with this package" . After spending close to 1000 USD, being asked for 3 USD just seemed very petty in my opinion. Though the operations manager, Peter D'Souza, did offer to waive the charge it is just a very petty operational request. Stay classy, Anantara!

Perfect service
Everything about this hotel is perfection. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we could smell the sweet floral fragrance of all the flowers from the trees. The hotel did something very special for our anniversary including a free bottle of wine. They are super attentive and helpful. The rooms smell great and are so beautiful. Ours opened into our own pool that was next to the much larger pool where free fruit skewers are served. This hotel made us feel so comfortable especially after full days of extremely humid and sweltering hot excursions to see the temples and sites around Siem Reap.
