For the price, I should have known better. For roughly $50/night, this is what I should have expected. But with a 4.6 rating, I expected a whole lot more. To their credit, the staff tried very hard, but there's not much that I liked about this place other than a fairly convenient location. I showed up and the first thing I noticed was a big, gross stain on the one really crummy towel I got. The bed was very stiff and uncomfortable. The room and particularly the bathroom were small, sparse, and not comfortable or well lit. The included breakfast was poor. Came very close to leaving immediately after check in but decided to stick it out as I only had two nights there. The staff definitely tried hard, and the place is decorated in a cute way, but it didn't feel clean, it wasn't comfortable, and definitely not my cup of tea.
To put this in some context -- I've been staying mostly in larger 4 and 5 star hotels during my one-month asia trip. This was definitely a step down, as a 3 star should be. So if you're use to this sort of place and this is within your budget range, it's probably fine. If you're like me and are used to something a little more upscale and comfortable, don't go here thinking you'll find a steal of a hotel in a great location. At best, you get what you pay for, with a staff that at least makes an effort.
