“Left us pampered, relaxed and feeling like we'd been spoilt”
With me unexpectedly on crutches, this trip was suddenly going to be a challenge but the hotel staff were frankly the most courteous & attentive we've ever experienced and made our stay far easier than we expected. The hotel felt luxurious and the attention to detail was perfect.
“Beautiful Hotel - Good location - Excellent Staff”
A beautiful hotel. Only 220 voltage which meant no curling iron. All food and drinks very expensive, but this is to be expected at such a fine hotel. A shopping mall is within feet of the hotel and has everything you could want including food and drinks at a more reasonable price. The hotel staff were more than willing to assist with our request and always called us by name. We have a view of the marina which was breath taking. The swimming pool was huge, clean, quiet with excellent staff.
“Great hotel”
An excellent service. The buffet breakfast was worth every dollar. Lobby needs to provide a bit more convenience when waiting but otherwise great place to stay
“Extremely Satisfied”
Very nice hotel with all possible amenities. Food prices are 5 star but plenty of other places to eat in the shopping malls next to the hotel. Staff very friendly and curteous. Will definitely return there for our next holiday.
“Top notch hotel”
This chain consistently delivers top quality all around. Mandarin Oriental Singapore lives up to expectations. Nice views of harbor, nicely designed building, great service, the food at the hotel's Chinese restaurant is exceptional.
“The best in Singapore”
I have stayed in many great hotels around the world, from the ritz, to Kimpinski, to the four seasons. I classify this hotel to be among the top ones. The service is just perfect, the rooms are sparkling new, the bathrooms are fully equiped and surrounded with the best marbel and towels. I got the harbour view room, it is simply stunning. Go for it.
“One Night Just Isn't Enough”
You know you are in for a treat the moment your car pulls up outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Singapore. The lobby is an oasis of calm with the friendliest, most helpful receptionist and bell boys waiting to cater to your every need. The semi-circular bank of elevators is illuminated by a glorious chandelier cascading from five floors above. The rooms are impressive. You enter into a small hallway anticipating what delights await you at the end. A dressing area is separated from the main bedroom by carved screens. To the right is a marble bathroom with deep soaking tub, separate glass shower and every toiletry imaginable, including a jar of bath salts by the tub. The bedroom features a large flat screen T.V., a good sized desk with Technology Kit and plugs, well supplied stationary drawers and beautiful orchids. The Room Service Menu is extensive as well as being rather expensive. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala which came with a bowl of rice, 6 different condiments in copper bowls, 2 pieces of Nan bread etc. It was delicious, filling and worth every penny! I had an early morning flight the next day and was woken on time by a real person at the end of the phone. The Check Out process was as delightful as Check In with the receptionist walking me to the hotel door. Many hotels may claim to be 5 Star but the Mandarin Oriental puts them all to shame.
“first class hotel, 5 stare!”
first class hotel 5 stare!
“A 5 Star Experience”
Excellent Hotel, expensive, but hey its 5 Star what do you expect! Great breakfast & the best weekend dim sum buffet you can get.
“Fantastic Spa, excellent room service and a lovely pool”
I regularly travel to Singapore and this was my first stay here. The Mandarin Oriental in Singapore is a lovely hotel, with all the usual luxuries one expects from this hotel chain. For me 3 things stood out: - The hotel has a fantastic Day Spa with professional therapists. I had several massages during my visit and all the therapists were excellent! - The pool at the hotel is lovely, although be early to nab a good spot. - The room service menu is excellent and food really good. I know Singapore is a foodie's dream, but sometimes after a long day of work room service is all one wants. The Mandarin Oriental really delivers, with an extensive menu and lots of options. Great food, including some good local selections. The hotel is in an ideal location for business, with a mall close by. It is a cab ride form the Orchard road shopping strip.
