“"Will Most Definitely Return"”

I was was totally impressed by the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and the service was prompt, sprinkled with friendliness and professionalism. It was also located strategically. There were lots of things to see and one can never claim to be bored. I will most definitely return and recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank You Swissotel Merchant Court for making our stay in Singapore so pleasurable and unforgettable.

“Best hotel at Clarke Quay”

Great hotel, with nice and modern bathrooms and good-sized rooms. Staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. The MRT train was across the road from the hotel, next to a good shopping centre. The hotel was located right on Clarke Quay- which is great for food and drinks at night! Definitely stay there again!

“Comfortable stay”

Good location and no complaints with the hotel. Didn't make significant use of the hotel facilites as this was a short visit and I went out for most of the day that I was there. Located round the corner from Clarke Quay MRT station and Clarke quay resturants so location can't be faulted. Really need to take the MRT to Orchard road but that said I managed to walk back from there to the hotel without to much of a problem. Room was comfortable and decent size. Sufficently impressed to use it for another overnight stay on way back through singapore.

“Very good value”

One of the cheapest hotels I found but was exceleent in every way. Very close to Clarke Quay where all the bars and restaurants are so didn't need to worry about getting home after a night out. Also next to a shopping mall. The facilities were very good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

“Swissotel Merchant Court”

It was very conveniently located; near the subway station and Clarke Quay which was a very hip place to hang out. We were there near the Christmas holiday so it was nice to stay at a place away from Orchard Road where all the holiday shoppers were. The hotel was nice and room were nice. I would stay there again.

“FRIENDLY, EXCELLENT SERVICE”

The staff at this hotel seem to work to the motto "nothing is too much trouble" and were only too happy to provide everything we needed. The rooms are very clean, well kept and have all the facilities we needed, including high speed internet connection. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and the restaurant is well staffed. The reception and concierge staff are also most helpful and overall, this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and we would recommend it to anyone.

“Great Stay”

Location at Clarke Quay and all its nightspots and restaurants was perfect. Short walk to the hawker restaurants at Boat Quay. 20- to 30-minute walk to Suntec Convention Center. Came in very late at night after a long trip from the States and a sympathetic staffer upgraded me to an executive room with a nice balcony at no charge. Price was outstanding for the level of hotel and location. Will definitely stay here again.

“Great location, and dependable service”

Overall great stay, clean room and dependable service in a prime location, close to the CBD and entertainment areas. Also great price on Expedia, relative to the other hotels in the area. Overall very satisfied, and will come back again.

“Merchant Court - would defioitely go back”

Hotel clean, central, staff very friendly. Good location for a range of attractions within walking distance and close connections for bus and underground.

“Best stay in Singapore”

My first stay at Merchant Court and it was most enjoyable. The Singapore River runs right next to it with hundreds of shops, restaurants and activities within a short walk. Clark Quay MRT station is across the street for farther journeys. Food and services in the hotel are expensive, as would be expected in a hotel of this category, but alternatives are nearby. The pool and exercise room are very nice with a good view of the city and waterfalls and a slide in the pool. The room was clean and comfortable. TV was a bit old and small, but who watches TV while visiting Singapore? The hotel is busy and the staff friendly. A keycard is required to use the elevator for security. Definitely a hotel I would stay at again.
