Cafébiz - Stylish modern interior with high windows looking out on the walkway. Buffets are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and an extensive a la carte menu features local and international items. Open from early morning until late evening.
Rumpoles Bar - With timbered floors and walls and a large TV for sports events, this casual bar offers a wide range of international and local beers, as well as wines, malt whiskies, and pub fare. Open from mid-afternoon until late evening.
Ah Hoi's Kitchen - Overlooking the garden, with flagstone floors, wood-beam ceilings, marble-topped tables, and wrought-iron chairs. The emphasis is on Singaporean delicacies, including chili crab and kway teow, with outdoor dining available next to the pool. Open for lunch and dinner.
Poolside Bar - Surrounded by tropical plants, with black wrought-iron tables and chairs. Serving refreshments and light snacks from mid-morning until mid-evening.
Recreation
A 30-meter (100-foot) freeform pool, separate children's wading pool, and spa tub are located on a fourth-floor garden terrace. Overlooking the garden, a well-equipped fitness center has women's and men's saunas and steam rooms, as well as spa rooms offering a range of treatments (surcharge), including Swedish massage, aromatherapy, and sports massage.
Guests have access to tennis courts (surcharge) at the Shangri-La Hotel one km (a half-mile) away, with complimentary scheduled shuttle service provided. Jogging maps are available for the Botanic Gardens, three blocks away.

“greate place to stay”
Room was small, but clean. Some channels on the TV were a bit fuzzy, but why would I go to Singapore to watch TV? Catching a cab was always very easy. I only ate breakfast at the hotel once. It was great, but on the pricey side. I prefer to walk down Orchard Road and get some rolls at one of the bakeries.

Everything goessmoothly , nice and professional welcome from staff , concierge is perfect and giving any information requested at once . wedidn't find any difficulty at any time ,near to orchard road . Diffinetely i would recommend hotel to all my friends

“Great SG hotel”
Excellent and easy check in, porters were so helpful and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable (from linens to toiletries). We had an adjoining room which was so convenient. The hotel provided complimentary bottles of water everyday - very nice for the hot weather. The shuttle service that takes you to the heart of Orchard Road was so convenient. The hotel restaurant was also very good - staff was helpful. Pizza was excellent. And the nearby Tanglin Mall with supermarket and local foods was a nice convenience. Botanical Garden was very close to walk to - beautiful grounds.
“5 star for 3 star price and location”
Great location, impeccable service, comfortable surroundings, family hotel, convenient to everything. We used the "Hop on hop off" bus service available at 50% off with a Singapore Airlines boarding pass(so save them). The bus stop was right across the street, as was the Singapore Tourism Board. A grocery store in the mall attached made fresh fruit etc. handy for snacks.
“Love the Traders Hotel”
We arrived at 9am in the morning after a long flight from Paris and they had the room ready for us. We celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary whilst staying there and waiting in our room was a bottle of wine, Belgium chocolates and a fruit platter. Totally unexpected. We have stayed at the Traders 5 times now and have loved each and every stay.
“Good hotel with great staff”
I usually stay in the Clarke Quay end of Singapore which is great for business, eating out and hotels. This time I stayed at Traders which is up the top end of Orchard Road and proved to be a really good place to stay. The top three floors are "Trader" floors and the rooms include free broadband, breakfast and (free) cocktails in the Trader's lounge. All of the staff were fabulous at reception, dining, room service and out front. I hate buffets but the buffet dinner in the Biz Cafe was a very high standard of food and the chef cooked me something off the menu. The staff were amazing helpful and also remembered names and personal preferences for food, seating etc. The rooms that I had were very clean with comfortable King size beds and reasonable views across the suburbs and central Singapore. For runners and orchid lovers, the Botanic Gardens are nearby and a great diversion. Very impressive.
“Wonderful stay”
If you want 5 star comfort but willing to pay only 3 to 4 star prices, this hotel should be considered for your next stay. The hotel is clean, wellmaintaned, wonderful staff and good location next to a shopping mall. Although a bit off from main orchard road, it is only a 5 minute walk. There is a shuttle provided for free transport to MRT. Rooms a bit small but very comfortable. Even had a complimentary late check out. There is a hospitality room to relax in if you have a late flight.
“Singapore is great”
Hotel is fantastic. 5 minute walk to metro station along Orchard Road. Quiet and clean with ALL amenities available including a great pool and spa.
“A great hotel experience”
We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Australia but we wished we had stayed longer. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful. We took the upgrade offered when we booked in which gave us access to the club room. This meant we did not have to book out until 4.00pm which was very helpful for our flight. The club lounge was a very good resource.
