The Doubletree offers convenient access to dozens of premium wineries and charming Wine Country towns. Ancient redwoods are about 15 miles away. Bodega Bay and the spectacular Point Reyes National Seashore are a 35-mile drive.
Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby. The business center and fitness center are open 24 hours. In addition to a large outdoor pool and a fitness center, the Doubletree offers two tennis courts. Guests enjoy preferred tee times and complimentary use of clubs at the adjacent Foxtail Golf Club's two 18-hole courses.
Pets up to 50 pounds are permitted for a daily surcharge. Parking is free. The Doubletree provides transportation to and from San Francisco International Airport and Oakland International Airport for $28 each way (fee subject to change; guests must pay the driver in cash).
Rooms
This Sonoma Wine Country hotel offers 245 spacious guestrooms. All feature Doubletree's Sweet Dreams® bed: a plush-top mattress that is triple sheeted with high-thread-count linens; a down comforter; and a supply of jumbo pillows. Large sitting areas include desks.
Wireless high-speed Internet access is available for a surcharge. Guests can print directly from their laptops to the front desk at no charge. 32-inch flat-panel televisions come with premium satellite channels and clock radios are equipped with MP3 docking stations.
About half the guestrooms have furnished balconies or patios. Most rooms face the courtyard or golf courses.

Bacchus Restaurant & Wine Bar - Wine Country–themed restaurant. Focus on foods and wines from Sonoma County. Fireplace, view of Sonoma Mountains. Wine bar with large selection of wines by the glass. Seasonal outdoor dining on flagstone patio with leafy arbors. Breakfast, lunch, dinner daily. Sunday à la carte brunch.
The Doubletree Sonoma Wine Country hosts complimentary wine tastings Friday evenings.
Recreation
The large heated outdoor pool is surrounded by a sundeck with lounge chairs and a spa tub. The hotel also offers complimentary use of its 24-hour fitness center and two tennis courts.
Doubletree Sonoma Wine Country is adjacent to the Foxtail Golf Club's two 18-hole golf courses: the par-72 North Course and the par-71 South Course. Guests enjoy preferred tee times and complimentary use of clubs. Hot-air ballooning, bicycling, and hiking are also popular. Scandia Funland, one mile from the hotel, offers two 18-hole miniature-golf courses, bumper boats, batting cages, a video arcade, and the Lil' Indy Raceway.

We have stayed at this hotel many time and it is always very nice. We travel to Santa Rosa often and this hotel is a great location, the rooms are always great and the staff is very nice. And of course we love the warm chocolate chip cookies.

The Doubletree is a very nice hotel. I would rate the hotel service, condition of hotel, cleanliness, room and location to be excellent. The rates were reasonable as well. It is also close to the Russian River Valley and Petaluma outlets for shopping. Will definitely stay here again on return visits to the Russian River Valley.
