“Wonderful service”
My husband and I went to South Haven for a short getaway. Immediately we were greeted by the desk clerk who had a smile on her face. We were quickly given our key to our King/Jacuzzi Room. The room was extremely clean and had a nice size mini-fridge, a microwave and coffee maker. The beds were SO comfortable and the pillows were as well. The carpets looked old and could stand to be replaced, but that was the least of my worries because everything else was so wonderful. They served a hot breakfast in the morning and the woman preparing the food never let any tray get close to being empty. There was eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, yogourt, the list goes on. What a wonderful time we had and it was perfect for our little getaway. 5 minutes from downtown and right off the expressway.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here again.
“south haven retreat 2”
The only negative comment is the room was right next to the mechanical room and the noise kept waking me up. I asked for a room away from the elevator and ice because I sleep light. However the bed was very comfortable and the room spotless.

the best service ever got a free upgrade to the presidential suite and was the most comfortable bed every the hotel staff was awesome and very freindly the breakfast is the best by far i think. even the coffee in the room was far better than most hotel coffee we loved our stay and will be going back in the future and many other times just hope all holiday inn expres' are like this....
“Nice place to stay”
We found the hotel nice and comfortable. Families with children were able to use the swimming pool. The hotel staff were helpful and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable. . We found the breakfast to be a nice variety of foods. There is and exercise room. We will stay there again.
“Comfortable and Relaxing”
I must admit that the design of our room (the "Business Executive Suite") was exceedingly odd, but the accommodations and stay were wonderful. I highly recommend the inn.

“Front Desk to the Rescue”
Overall this was a good value and on a par with what is expected by this chain of hotels. There was a glitch in that the room was not serviced or cleaned the first night for whatever reason it was missed. The front desk personnel were very attentive the next morning and did what was necessary to apologize and turn a negative into a positive. A decent room and a very good staff.
“Very satisfied”
I was surprised that the hotel was actually very good, because some reviews had been negative. But the staff was friendly and when their help was needed were quick to provide it. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.
“Great brekfast”
Clean place!! Outstanding breakfast. Had an issue with air conditioning and it was fixed quickly. High ceilings, nice people. Thanks !
