“Better than I expected”
The ocean view was like a postcard it was so beautiful. The room was clean and the furnishings were in good shape.
“Happy Customer :)”
Nicely updated room with an amazing ocean view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back. No complaints here!
“BREATHTAKING!”
"Breathtaking, the view from every angle of the room was captivating. The ceiling to floor windows made the room, listening to the waves roll was a bedtime story and wake up call!
“Completely wonderful place: will return”
Perfect beach hotel experience. Wall of windows in bedroom and living room, with sliding doors, let us lounge around our room feeling like we were partaking of the ocean rhythms -- pounding surf, gorgeous sunrises. Balcony: comfortable chairs (but no table for drink or lounge chair for napping). Microwave, small refrig (no freezer) and bar sink was a minimal but adequate "kitchenette." Desk faced the ocean and there was amazingly good internet connections. The king bed was a "sleep number," though I'm not sure it worked. When we needed housekeeping or maintenance, they were very speedy. We ordered room service pizza from the hotel restaurant and were able to keep the plates, etc to enjoy our leftovers the next day. There was a pool, but we didn't use it. The beach area was nice, well-maintained. We will definitely return.
“Radisson oceanfront”
Nice place with view
“Incredible views”
As soon as I opened the door to my 2-room suite, I knew I had made the right decision on a hotel. The outer wall of the living room and bedroom is nothing but glass, including a sliding glass door leading to your private balacony. And the entire view is the majestic Atlantic Ocean...simply Amazing. The colors were so vivid, the moonlight at night so bright I turned off all room lights to fully enjoy it. The room amenities are a little dated, but every is very clean, great sleep number bed, and the views are priceless. Well worth of cost of stay.
“Very Pleased! Would Go Back!”
The location was real easy to find in addition to having a Walmart and Winn-Dixie right across the Street! Plus McDonalds and a Publix just down the road! We were on the 5th floor and the view is awesome! The balcony is not private and there is lip/ step before going onto it. The room was very nice with 3 sinks, a microwave, counter space, and a mini fridge. No utensils or bowls or plates, however if you ask the front desk they will provied at no charge. The bed is a sleep number and I've never been on it before. It was the best hotel/regular bed ever! Even the comforter was great and comfortable. Best sleep ever, really! There were 2 TVs (not flat screen) a chair, and a pull out couch. My kids slept on it and said it was ok. No table and chairs though but there is a desk with a chair. The air conditioner worked just fine as long as the doors stayed shut. The bathroom is small but has newer fixtures and good water pressure. The beach...private beach with no crowds, easy access, hotel is on the beach, huge rocks in the ocean, and you can rent chairs and umbrellas if you don't have your own. I recommend bringing your own though...expensive. Nice size pool and heated...NO hot tub/spa. We all loved it here and would come back!
“Great Melbourne hotel”
The Radisson in Melbourne is a great hotel, it was clean with a very attentive staff - quick to reply to any problems and eager to please - from the cleaning staff to the pool side bartender.
“Great place to go for a special occasion”
We went there to get away for an anniversary and it was great. Spent a lot of time enjoying the balcony right over the ocean. If you love the sound of the ocean(and we do) it's the place to go. We may make it a regular every year!
“Best Kept Hidden Secret”
The staff at the Radisson was fabulous! They were very helpful when it came to sharing knowledge of local restaurants and such. Our suite overlooked the Atlantic Ocean and was simply gorgeous! The beach the hotel was on was not crowded and full of beautiful shells, unlike Cocoa Beach that we traveled to one of the days. Since we were there during turtle season, we enjoyed walking the beach in the morning looking at the loggerhead tracks. The turtle preservation society is a few miles away and provides a great deal of info about the turtles (you can even schedule a nightly turtle tour if you do it months in advance). The suite we stayed in had a sofa sleeper for our children to sleep on and a separate room for us. There was one bathroom, but a second vanity sink was located outside the bathroom (helpful when getting ready in the morning). Plus, a small third sink was part of the kitchenette area (microwave and frige included). Our only complaint about the hotel concerned the towels (we needed more for our family of four in our room, and they were often not available near the pool--we just purchased a few cheap towels for the pool and beach at the local Wal-Mart). There were plenty of chairs for lounging on the sundecks or around the pool, or you could rent umbrellas and chairs to use near the beach. Also, at night the front of the hotel is lit with a green light which made it easier to find on our nightly outings.
