“Very nice hotel”
We stayed at this hotel because our flight back to US was very early. I wish we could get a hotel like this by this price in Athens. The rooms is large, clean and I loved the shower. The bed is also top quality. The location could not be better (if you are catching a flight). It is across the street from the departure area,
“Sofitel Athens Airport”
This hotel is beautiful with many artifacts and paintings of Greece all over. The decor is lovely from the lobby all the way up to the pool and spa area. The staff was friendly and very courteous and knowledgeable, as well. If you need to be at the airport for early morning take-off, I would definitely recommend the Sofitel Athens Airport hotel. One of the best experiences of hotels in a long time.

“Athens Airport Sofitel”
This hotel surpassed our expectations! We were made to feel very welcome, the service was very attentive without being overwhelming, the food was great & the location couldn't have been more convenient, being only about 50 m from the Athens airport. The staff was totally conversent with English, making our arrival after a very long trip, even more pleasant. We were given complimentary drink tickets at the bar. We were even given a room upgrade to the Executive floor where we had a really nice sized room & access to a 24 hour lounge that provided free snacks & drinks. This hotel provided a great start to our 4 week holiday in Greece & we would highly recommend it to both friends & fellow travellers.
“Totally Satisfied”
This hotel was amazingly quiet. Our room was lower level facing the airport arrival/departure traffic yet we heard absolutely nothing. The double paned window and a solid wood sliding inside mounted shutter really did the job. The corridor door was also acoustically sealed. We wouldn't pay their breakfast prices so one of us walked across the street and got fresh squeezed orange juice and a selection of bakery items from a kiosk and ate in the room with the coffee the hotel furnished. It's worth the additional cost to stay here for the great convenience to the terminal and eliminate the frantic hassle usually involved with transferring from a remote city hotel for an early flight. We would definitely stay again any night before a flight.
“Quiet Hotel”
It was very quiet even though it is right across from the airport. I booked the Sofitel because of a very early morning flight and it worked out perfectly.

“Pleasant, friendly convenient hotel”
The staff were excellent, welcoming and helpful and location was very convenient as we had a flight next day. We were given early access to our room which was great. The food in the bar and the ground floor restaurant was really tasty but the service in the bar was rather slow and the food took ages to arrive, be we forgave this because of the quality. The room was a good size and the shower was...interesting! There was no hair conditioner which was a pity. Staff in the business centre were very helpful when I went to do online check in. It is not possible to print boarding passes from your room, you have to go downstairs.
“The Best Hotel Ever”
This hotel is new, lovely, great food in the rooftop restaurant, good service. Bathroom is fabulour. The hotel is literally across the driveway from the airport in Athens. We walked across the driveway and into the airport to check in at 3:30 AM. We chose this hotel since we had such an early morning flight. However, it was a great place to stay, very luxurious. Well worth the price anda geat last night for our trip.
“I wish the rest of the hotels in Greece were this nice!!!”
I initially balked at paying this kind of money for an "airport" hotel, but given a late arriving flight and an early morning departure, the proximity (and prospect of cab fares to a less expensive hotel farther away) made this choice look like the right one. Surprise! This hotel is wonderful!! The room - "only" a standard double - was the best we stayed in on vacation! Beautiful, contemporary design, great linens and sparkling clean. Worth every penny and then some.
