“Fine for the money”
We weren't looking for luxury on this trip ... just a clean, safe & comfortable place to sleep at night. This hotel fit the bill. The rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional. The indoor pool was nice and if you want to jog or walk, the Connecticut River walking path has a trail head right behind Wal-Mart. The continental breakfast was just that, but it worked in a pinch. I would definitely recommend EconoLodge Hadley if you're looking for a reasonably priced place to lay your head at night.
“Will go back”
Excelent location, close to public transportation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The mall is within walking distance although I didnt have time to actually visit it. UMASS at Amherst is also very close by.
“Good value lodge”
Good value. Easy access to Northampton and Amherst. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again.
“Would Highly Recommend”
This hotel was above and beyond my expectations. Very clean and polite staff. I would rate it one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Great location!! Very clean.
“Good value”
Friendly and efficient service
“A room at the lodge”
My son lives in the area and doesn't have room when the whole family gets together. The Econolodge is the perfect 'extra bedroom' while we visit. Very comfortable and clean. Friendly, welcoming staff. A definite return reservation.
“My hotel of choice when I visit Hadley....reasonable prices and very comfortable.”
Clean, comfy, reasonably priced, friendly staff. How much more do you need?
“good location”
Stayed here while visiting our daughter at UMass. Great close location. This is right on route 9 where all the big stores are if you need anything. There's a Dunkin Donuts right next door if you don't want the continental breakfast at the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Indoor swimming pool was nice. No wi-fi, but they will lend you an ethernet cable if you need one. There's also a computer for guests usage in the lobby.
“New hotel”
It's nice to stay in a hotel that is new (i'd guess about 2 years old) since the furniture and bathroom don't seem as worn as in older hotels. They called me in the room within 15 minutes to see if everything was okay with the room. BUT I did notice little ants on the bathroom floor and told them when i was checking out. The desk clerk said he was surprised since the exterminator had just been there the previous week.
“Will definitely go back”
Its the most convenient place for us to stay while visiting our daughter at a college nearby. It's very clean, staff are always nice and ready to assist, but at the same time very private with it's seperate entrance at the back. A lot of stores nearby so it's not a problem getting out to shop or get food. We've stayed there 3 years in a row and would do so agin next year if our daughter wasnt graduating this year!
