“Great location for a first time visit to St Louis”
This was our first time back to St Louis in more than a decade. Since we were only going to be there 2 days, we did not rent a car. The hotel itself is located at Union Station, so it was convenient to hop onto a train and head to major attractions. The hotel lobby is quite a sight. Do take the time to explore the beautiful stained glass windows, cathedral-like ceiling, etc. At the hotel itself, there is a shopping mall to walk around at, and several restaurants and a large food court. We had requested a non-smoking room, but when we walked into our room, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. A call to the front desk and our situation was promptly addressed. We were given the option of having our room re-cleaned and refreshened, or they would assist us in moving to another room. We asked to be moved. Though they were fairly booked up for the day, they moved us within 30 minutes of our call.
“cant wait to go back”
hotel was awesome. the only complaint was the air conditioner in our room was not that great.we ask them to look at it,but it did not feel any different the next night.other than that it was great will definitely stay there again.
“Very Nice”
The hotel is old, but very clean and up-to-date. The Metro is right out the door from the Union Station. Super comfortable bed; highly recommended.
“Convenience and Confort”
Service was extremely professional and polite. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable.
“Very Impressive”
This hotel is one of the most awsome places I've been. The architexture is outstandingly magnificent. The service is also quite wonderful, everyone was helpful and kind. Will go there again!
“Very nice stay”
Although it was only for one night, the rate was reasonable and the convenience being right in Union Station was wonderful! I would definitely stay here again.
“Beautiful Hotel, not the greatest city”
We had a great time in St. Louis thanks to the people we met and the gorgeous hotel. It was a little farther from the stadium, etc. than stated and the mall is mostly specialty shops, not really a "mall". Check out the Beatles For Sale store if you are a rocker or a once upon a time rocker-great selection! Beware the cab drivers, vultures all. Restaurant experience +++!
“Most beautiful hotel I've seen.”
The lobby is just so unique and beautiful. Brings you back to an era a long time ago. The beds were great, the location was great. Just couldn't have been better.
“Don't stay anywhere else!”
Beautifully restored hotel attached to small mall. Staff was extraordinarily gracious and helpful. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in St. Louis!
“Great area to stay”
We loved the hotel and the area it was located. You are right at the metro so you can ride anywhere for very cheap, but there is a lot to do right there within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again when we go back to St. Louis!
