Captain Oliver Restaurant is open everyday for American buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 7 am to 10.30 pm. This open-air restaurant proposes a Saturday night lobster buffet with live music and Sunday brunch.
The Chef places emphasis onfresh seafood, French and Creole cuisine.
The Iguana Bar is open from 3 pm to 10.30 pm. Its terrace is adjacent to the Captain Oliver Restaurant. There is a nice variety of appetizers and snacks available at the adjacent Tapas Bar on ths Iguana Bar terrace.
Recreation
The Captain Oliver's private beach is for the exclusive use of hotel guests. Several tikis, a sunning deck and a floating platform are available.
The swimming-pool is available 24 hours a day, towels are available at the front desk free of charge.
The Activity desk is located on the Marina, arrangements can be made to private charters, ferry to St Barths, motorboat trips, horseback-riding, ect.
Rental car arrangements can be made in the lobby.
There is also a scuba-diving shop, several charter companies and a boutique inside the Resort, while only 10 minutes walk away, there are grocery stores and several other restaurants.

“Much more than expected!”
Captain Oliver's was much nicer than expected. It is exactly like the pictures they put on their website. Since the price was sooo much cheaper than the hotels our cruise line suggested, I was expecting an old run down hotel. Not the case at all. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of items and dinner was great. The marina and ocean view is incredible. Can't wait to return!
“Beautiful secluded getaway”
Beautiful setting and surroundings, charming layout and wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with a great easy-going and helpful staff. Semi-attached bungalow style hotel with rooms, dockside restaurant, open reception area (the only place you can get internet), nice pool area connected by a beachfront wooden walkway and concrete pathways through tropical gardens. We were upgraded for free to a fantastically set ocean front room with a view towards the inlet with a large hill to the left side, and another hotel across the harbor to the right. We loved the room, although it seems the toilet wasn't properly vented, and so the smell in the room wasn't always pleasant. We just lit a scented candle and opened the large blacony door. We originally stayed on the Dutch side at the Flamingo, which is a great little resort, but more family and old couple oriented than we wanted. We dropped by to see Capitain Olivers and loved this secluded getaway so moved to it the next day. We loved our stay there even more and would definately go back.

Capt Oliver's is a great place to stay in St Martin. Great location. Close to several restaurants and 2 mini marts. Capt Oliver's has 3 restaurants/bars onsite. The bartender at Capt Oliver's restaurant is great and makes a super 'cosmo'! Her little boy is a delight to talk to and knows all about the aquarium. A short walk away up the hill are amazing views of St Barts, the marina, the sea etc. Capt Oliver's is a short drive to Orient Beach, a must see! The housekeeping staff are very friendly and accomodating. HINT: a small tip is appreciated and earned.

“Sweet hotel!”
Gregory was extremely helpful! He gave us suggestions on a nearby hike with a breathtaking vista and also helped me conveniently obtain my luggage from the airport after it failed to arrive when we did. Also, the salmon tartare at the restaurant was INCREDIBLE! There is also a little kitchenette w/fridge so we bought a few drinks and snacks to save money. The only problem with Captain Olivers is that if you don't have access to a mode of transportation it's not conveniently located (we rented a scooter).
“Great Experience”
We have stayed at Captain Oliver's for 8 days. Our experience was great. The room was spacious and great. We booked last minute a garden view room, and on arrival received a beautiful if not the best ocean view room. Service was great. Restaurant staff was okay, not great in the beginning but got increasingly friendlier with time and tips. But overall a wonderful experience. Hotel has local charm and location was beautiful. Would stay there again.
“A piece of paradise”
Stayed at Captain Olivers for 5 nights and it was simply wonderful. After touring the entire island I was extremely happy with our ocean view bungalow. It was very relaxing, quiet, big rooms that are very clean. Can't wait to go back again!
