“Pleasant and comfortable”
The hotel rooms was spacious, with a lovely bathroom and a good view from the balcony. The beach was, unfortunately, washed away by the sea during our stay. On Christmas Day, the service at lunch was very slow because of staff shortage and the fact that it was raining, so they were overwhelmed with customers. But the hotel is freshly renovated and painted, in a good location close to restaurants, and the staff were friendly.
“Great vacation hotel!”
This was a great choice for our vacation. Perfect location, with an easy & safe walk to a large number of Marigot restaurants and shops including the marina. Nice--although not huge--beach with decent snorkeling once you get past the pier, and a great view of the town. Hotel was always clean, which is not easy with all the sand. Hotel staff were polite, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The included breakfast was plentiful and tasty (the croissants were amazing!). Also a great base for a day trip by ferry to Anguilla, where Shoal Bay East is the most amazing beach I have ever seen. Would love to visit again and would definitely recommend!
“Very European! We loved it.”
Hotel Beach Plaza is very open and airy with a very European flavor. A full breakfast is provided in a lovely setting. While I have heard of people having problems with an unattentive staff, we did not experience this. The staff was very accomodating and courteous. The room was very clean. The furnishings and bathroom fixtures are somewhat dated, but still OK. We have stayed here before, and we love it. Just don't expect the a big fancy chain hotel, and remember you are another country. We had a great stay and would definitely return.
“Nice hotel but don't eat there.”
I would recommend staying at the Hotel Beach Plaza, however I would not recommend the restaurant. We ate lunch and breakfast at the hotel and was disappointed both times.
“Very nice hotel”
Hotel was nice and clean. The restaurant did not live up to expectation but the staff was very nice and helpful. Skip the lobster night on Friday. The cold lobster was overcooked and dry. The hot lobster was undercooked. Not a very nice experience at 41 Euros
“Loved the location”
Comfortable, nice, and the location was perfect
“Great time in St. Martin”
Best location, as we could walk to marina and all it had to offer with cafes, restaurants, shops and downtown Marigot. The private beach was beautiful!
“A little European! A lot of caribbean!”
Staff is helpful, delicious breakfast, convenient location, great ocean view (make sure you pay the extra bucks, it's well worth it).
“Will go back in the future”
The surroundingis beautiful and the people are friendly. If you like to be with the locals, it is the perfect location. !!!
“A nice simple European Hotel”
There are not alot of extras or frills, but the hotel is on a nice private beach, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the service is polite and efficient. If you want to watch TV on vacation then dont go here. The t.v's are about 10 inches and are from 1982. I prefer to not sit in my room with a television so it works for me.
