Royal Palm Beach Resort offers 140 guest suites in a six-story white building with blue trim. Balconies and ground-floor terraces with dining sets and cushioned lounge chairs provide views of the Caribbean Sea. Kitchens include four-burner stoves, microwaves, refrigerators, and two-stool breakfast bars.
Living/dining rooms include dining sets, sofa beds, and wing chairs. Tile bathrooms contain stall showers (no tubs). Ceiling fans supplement air conditioning. Televisions offer U.S./international channels. DVD/VCR combinations supply entertainment.
Accommodations receive one mid-stay cleaning for stays of four nights or longer. Daily cleaning may be available at additional cost.

Cabana Beach Bar & Restaurant - Casual open-air restaurant/bar with wood floor and ceiling serving breakfast, lunch, dinner. Dinner choices such as conch chowder, grilled lobster, fish, shrimp, steaks, rack of lamb, curried chicken, roast duck. Wednesday-night barbecue buffet and live entertainment.

Royal Palm Beach Resort lies on a 100-m (109-yd) Caribbean Sea crescent beach that's part of the 3-km-long (2-mi) beach fringing Simpson Bay adjacent to the airport on the island's southwest side. Water in the bay remains calm is most weather. The resort's beachfront is furnished with lounge chairs and thatched shades.
For freshwater swimming, the resort offers 15.25-by-10-m (50-by-33-ft) pool flanked by a sundeck furnished with cushioned lounge chairs. Complimentary aerobics are offered in the pool during busy seasons.
A water-sports center rents snorkeling gear and, for charges, offers activities such as kayaking, parasailing, motor boating, sailing, scuba diving, fishing, motor boating, and cruising.
Use of Royal Palm Beach Resort's large air-conditioned fitness center with cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights is complimentary.
From early morning to early evening, complimentary shuttles transport guests to a companion property in St. Maarten, Flamingo Beach Resort, 1.25 km (0.75 mi) away. There, guests have complimentary access to a pool, a lighted tennis court, and a beach on Simpson Bay.

“Right on the Beach”
The hotel is close to the airport which is convenient if arriving late at night in a rental car and you've never driven on the island before. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit was the same price as other hotel room type efficiencies on the island and was beautifully decorated. Ask for a ground floor unit which are steps from the beach and have patios for lounging and watching the ocean. The restaurant on site was on the beach and was the best food we had despite trying restaurants all over the island. Even though this is a timeshare resort, we were never harassed about buying.

“PERFECT for our airport stopover spot!”
Again, the rooms in this hotel were MUCH MORE THAN WE EVER EXPECTED! Nice, full kitchens with dishwashers. There was a comfortable living area and two separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The view was incredible as well. Our only regret was that we were only spending one night on our way to the airport and our flight was very early the next morning, so we didn't get to enjoy much of what we saw! Thank you Expedia for the awesome deal!

“Can't wait to go back”
Perfect place to stay. The oceanfront room was great with an incredible view! Would highly recommend the Royal Palm. Only have positive things to say about the staff, the room and my entire stay. Can't wait to go back!! It is conveniently located within walking distance to many good restaurants that were very reasonably priced. (The French side is much more expensive.) There is also a small store on site with reasonable prices. I have been to many of the islands and this is one of my favorites!
“Best Hotel For your Money's Worth!!!!”
The Royal Palm was beautiful! My cousin and I stayed for 8 days last July and never wanted to come home! We stayed in the in 2 bedroom suite so we each had our own bathroom and amenities. Please carefully read, the hotel DOES state that they only do housekeeping for people who stay for more than 7 days. About the 4th day they did,so please be tidy and don't be afraid to ask for towels. The view was gorgeous,the staff was great, and PLEASE take the Sunset Cruise.We did it 2 times and it never got old. Also get up early in the morning and take a trip to Mullet Bay, which is not too far from the airport. I advise to you to get up early because it not only is beautiful but VERY POPULAR, so claim your area as early as possible. The Royal Palm is a time-share but they don't harass you if you're not interested. I'm planning my trip back already!!!! Great Fun and Memories!
“Great for family, good location for yachts”
WE were delighted with this hotel. We had 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, great for us and 2 children. Great kitchen facilities so we had the option to eat in when we wanted. Fabulous fridge/freezer. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, the room was always clean with fresh towels etc. The pool is rather small, but fine for our under 5's. There is also a reasonably good beach, although the sand is not ery soft. Restaurant food was good, and there are plents of alternatives across the street. The hotel is fairly close to the airport, so expect to see lots of planes passing overhead. We didn't find this a problem. It is also situated close to the Simpson Bay bridge, and offers great views of the yachts going in and out of the basin.
“Royal Palm”
Only problem was the elevators, one (working) is very old and shakes all over, the second elevators was been replaced). Food was not bas but restaurants accross the street were excellent. Very nice rooms with a great view, hotel location is excellent
“Excellent Trip/Excellent Hotel”
Royal Palm Beach Resort is a GREAT hotel. The pictures on the expedia page is not really accurate. It is now very modern blue and white color. Very clean inside and out. The amenities that includes your suite would be everything you would need. TV is plasma/Aquos. Staff was wonderful. Cleaning lady was super nice. I came with my family-total of 6 people and there was enough room, like your own little condo. All rooms overlooks the ocean, lower floor great with kids but we prefer the top floor to see the whole water view. Bring your laptop., there is WIFI in the lobby through the pool and some rooms. We were on the 3rd floor and was able to connect to our iphones.... in general it was one of the greatest experience for us. Buy food at the smaller grocery stores-its cheaper. Rent a car- Elantra was perfect even on rough roads- don't buy gas from FULL-Service,... $4.70 per gallon. We traveled to all the beach/bay- it was pretty cheap excursion for 6 people. Hope this review is very helpful. It was great to read old reviews for pointers.... hope this one helps you. It is literally $ to $ there. Have FUN!
