“Honeymoon Paradise”
Wonderful resort!! Quiet, relaxing, and gorgeous!! Great for a honeymoon or getaway from stress.
“The Crane”
The Crane is a wonderful place to stay! We were there in 2009 and loved it. It better now with the shopping village open and more places to dine. The Crane is on the quiet side which we prefer. The rooms are huge with great ocean views and we got super service from everyone!! Try the massages at the spa, they are so relaxing!!Barbados is such a friendly island, we can't wait to go back!!!
“Perfect for a relaxing honeymoon”
If you love to party The Crane probably isn't the spot for you because it lacks a nightlife, although there are fun places about 15 minutes away. The view was amazing, the beach was perfect, and the pools were awesome. If beautiful and quiet are what you are looking for the Crane is it! It should be even better when they finish construction.
“Very nice place even with Roaches”
We booked the Thanksgiving trip to Barbados just 40 hours from take off finding some last minute deals. I had discovered The Crane on line earlier this year and became intrigued. Although there is lots of contruction ongoing I would not stay anywhere else on this isle. This place is relitivly perfect although it would be better if they had a dive operator on the premises. You have to drive down to town for that as the surf is a bit rough on this end of the isle though not impossible to scuba there. Our suite was fantastic with a full kitchen and stone tile thoughout the suite. We did spend about three days ridding the roaches in the kitchen although they were not there from filth as the place was spotless. I think they are just leftever resident roaches from the construction as the building 5 is fairly new. Try it.. You wont be disappointed in this huge property.
“Review of The Crane”
We had a great time. Our room was amazing. The pools were very nice and the beach was right there too.
“A trip to remember, can't wait to go back.”
This was the best vacation we've ever had. Everything was perfect. The hotel and resort were magnificent, breathtaking views. It was even more beautiful than in the pictures. Our suite was spacious and extremely comfortable. We slept even better than we do in our bed at home. The food was excellent at each of the restaurants. The swimming pools were always clean and never crowded. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful private beach with staff to help with lounge chairs and beach umbrellas. I can't imagine finding a better resort in Barbados. We're planning on going back to The Crane next year.
“Wonderful get-away, would love to go back”
The rooms were spacious and well-decorated. The service was impeccable -- we stayed in the 1 bedroom oceanview with a kitchen and cooked every day, leaving lots of dirty dishes behind. We would go to the beach, and upon return 3 hours later the room would be spotless. For those not interested in cooking in own room, there are also two great restaurants on the grounds of the resort. Needless to say the color of the ocean water, and overall flora and fauna make one feel that paradise surrounds.
“Excellent!”
What an amazing place to be! All the staff were VERY friendly and the service was great. Not the place for someone who runs on a tight schedule... Barbados is very laid back , which was one of the things I loved the most. The beach is unbelievable and the locals are super friendly. We booked a garden suite and was given a partial ocean view...BEAUTIFUL! Yes, the A/C didn't work the best but open your windows and you'll get a nice breeze. The pools were so nice and there's lots of them. I would recommend the Crane to anyone and can't wait to make our next trip back!
“Can't wait to go back”
The Crane Hotel was beautiful;I definitely enjoyed my stay. The rooms are magnifiscent and the overall hotel is amazing; I can't wait to go back.
“A perfect time.”
I recently stayed at The Crane and had an amazing time. I called in advance, so I knew to expect some construction. So I got an ocean view 1 bedroom suite and it was absolutely amazing. We never heard the construction and had a beautiful view of the pools, cliffs and the ocean. I asked my fiance to marry me at the top of one of one of the most picturesque cliffs and I couldn't ask for a more memorable place to have done it. THe beach was amazing and the service was very friendly but a bit slow. Some people don't like the fact that you have to get your own drinks, but that's just laziness. You can walk 20-50 feet and grab a drink. Overall it was a tremendous trip.
