“Great location”
Located right by a T (subway) stop, very easy access to Stockholm attractions. Clean, friendly. Across from a plaza with several cafes and live music on the weekend we were there.
“Great Hotel”
The hotel is very well run. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was wonderful and plentiful, having free internet access in the lobby was a big plus, and the location (right at a subway stop) was convenient. Our room was smallish but clean and comfortable.
“Would stay here again!”
The hotel was perfectly located. The metro was right there but you could easily walk to anywhere. The hotel had some bikes that they let us use for the day too. Sometimes at night it was a little noisy from all the outside activity still going on but when you're tired from a day of sightseeing you really don't notice it. The buffet breakfast in the morning was amazing and quite filling. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.
“Good value for money”
Good place to sleep in a lively area near the center. Not too comfortable, but for 1-2 nights stay it's enough.
“Very good hotel, but the pictures don't reflect reality”
The hotel is very good located (T subway at the corner), the lobby and the restaurant look as the pictures (they have finished the renovations there), but the rooms don't look as you can see in the pictures here, they're old and our room was not clean enough when we came in the first time. They're gonna start the renovations of the rooms this month, so if you're planning to go, be careful with the noise. You can walk to Gamla Stan and be there in 10 min. Stockholm is a nice city and almost everything is walking-distance.
“Great deal, great location, small elevators.”
Spent a week at this hotel, located in the heart of Sodermalm, the 'cool' part of Stockholm. The hotel literally sits atop a subway station, so the rest of Stockholm's museums and shopping -- are within easy reach. Accomodations are Swedishly small, but comfortable. The buffet breakfast was copious and tasty. The only thing I can find to criticize about the hotel is its 3 ridiculously small elevators. Sometimes it can take a while to find one. We were very happy with this place. It was a terrific base from which to explore Stockholm and its surroundings.
“Would return”
Convenient location, old town 10-15 min walk, supermarkets and laundry nearby. Room fairly basic (no mini bar, fridge or safe) but adequate and large enough. Good breakfast. Good feature was ability to order meal and collect yourself when it was ready thus saving room service charges. Helpful reception staff.
“Close to the Old Town”
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was substantial - good variety and great food. We would recommend families arrive early to secure seats as high weekend guest count lead to full breakfast rooms. The location is a big plus - hotel is within easy walking distance of Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace, and National Museum. There is a subway stop within 100 meters of the front door and a ferry stop to the other islands within a 10 minute walk. For light sleepers, there is a bit of night noise from the square across the street...but only a bit. The train station is about 10 minutes by cab or about 100 kroner without trafic. It is possible to use the underground.
“Good rooms, great location”
Great, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Too busy in the restaurant at breakfast time though, we couldn't find any table to sit at, even to share with other guests.
“Typical Scandinavian hotel”
Staff very nice and friendly, room is basic but that is pretty standard in Sweden. Breakfast good. Hotel location is also very good.
