Nice but not a 9.6 as the rating showed
The room was nice and clean. Everything in order. The bad: The toilet flushing was quite loud. The people above us were SUPER load with the kids running around as 6AM! I would DEFINATELY recommend.to others to book your room on the UPPER floor in case you do have obnoxious kids staying in the room above you! Breakfast was definitely a grab and go...nothing special by any means. The help was very nice and courteous.

Great experience and check-in was great. Had a great conversation when checking in and it was very welcoming. Very good amenities and great breakfast choices made a good start to the day. Would stay there again and recommend it to other. Pet friendly and our stay was pleasant.

Check-in was a breeze. We had a problem with the location of our room - it was right next to a hotel entrance door and we traveled with our two dogs - but the staff were happy to relocate us to the backside of the hotel where it was quiet. I initially asked for a ground floor room with outside access, which I got, but with a tour bus rolling up and people fanning that door, it just wasn’t going to work for us. Our second room was wonderful - quiet on the first night, spacious, and very close to an outside door. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Hotel is in walking distance of Driftwood Restaurant and Lehto Pasties. Driftwood had a chill vibe and an expansive menu. Hotel also in walking distance of the ferry docks to Mackinac Island. Great location. Hotel offers a breakfast in the morning - packaged boiled eggs, waffle iron for mini waffles, bagels, cereal, muffins, and yogurt. Staff at the desk, Jennifer, was super helpful and made recommendations and provided prompt assistance when asked. We did have a noise issue on the second night of our stay. Someone checked into the room next to us and slammed the door every time they went in and out of the room. I called the desk and they handled it and we were able to sleep. There’s an indoor pool and hot tub. We didn’t use either, but walked by this area several times on the way to our room and it looked clean. Free onsite parking is available all around the hotel.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean. I was surprised to see a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The motel was pet friendly which I did appreciate. There were other dogs there but heard nothing as far as dog’s barking. The price was a fair price, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The room was clean, a littler smaller than I had expected. It was a little cramped having the fridge and micro in the closet. They did not have a hot breakfast. Bagels, cereal, yogurt, muffins. They did have waffles.

The suite that we stayed in, room 250, was perfect for us. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The location was within walking distance to the town and the ferry to Mackinac Island. The locals were very friendly and helpful. If I ever make it back up to the UP, I would definitely stay here again.

My two friends and I really enjoyed our one-night stay at this hotel. It was just right for what we needed. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The double sink in our two-room suite was very convenient, however, it was located quite far from the bathroom. It was practically in the larger bedroom, so it was difficult to use without disturbing the two people staying in that bedroom. The continental breakfast was average but satisfactory. We wished they didn’t use styrofoam plates and plastic silverware. We prefer more eco-friendly options. Overall, it was a nice, spacious room, and we would stay here again.

The place felt safe, clean, and comfortable. Very easy to walk to the Ferrys for the island and to walk to get food! The only complaint I had is we showed up at noon when check-in started at 11, but we were told that we could not get the keys because the lady didn't know if our room (that was 7 rooms down the hall) had been cleaned, and that we had to come back at 3... when her shift ended. When we walked in, the new front desk lady helped us immediately by going and checking our room herself and got us the keys in a matter of moments! We checked out at 3 in the morning and the front desk lady at that time was wonderful and sweet!

Nice rooms
This is a nice hotel. It's not the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's definitely nice and clean! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was conveniently located and we could walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely book this hotel again!

The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. My biggest complaint was that the A/C unit was near the ceiling and straight across from the main bed. When the A/C was on it blew cold air right on our heads/faces. Staff was very friendly in providing extra blankets.
