“By Far the Best in Mackinaw City”
We've been staying at the Hamilton Inn Select for well over 5 years now. It is by FAR the BEST hotel in Mackinaw City. Over the years we have stayed at numerous other hotels, but kept coming back to the Hamilton. It is clean, comfortable, excellent pool & breakfast bar. The employees offer OUTSTANDING customer service. My kids ALWAYS ask to stay at the Hamilton - it's become our home-away-from-home. GREAT HOTEL!
“A very pleasant surprise!”
I was expecting just an average hotel for the price we paid but it was actually very nice. From the second we pulled up I was very pleased. It was right on the water and the Star Line Ferry dock, which we were taking the next morning, practically shared the same parking lot. The lobby was nice and welcoming with the indoor pool right off of it. The room was large and clean as well as the bathroom. The next morning we had a very nice complimentary breakfast just down the hall from us in the breakfast room. Well worth it and I would absolutely recommend this hotel.
“Outstanding Amenities!!!!!”
Outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually,,,, The Hamilton Inn Select was wonderfull. I wish we would have more time to stay there and enjoy the ammenities. It was just a stop over for sleeping only on our way to northern Wisconsin... thank you very much....The view was great, the breakfast was good, the water park was fantastic.
“Great Hotel. Better than expected!”
The location was beautiful, right on the lake. Our room opened up to the beach with a sliding glass door.. The room was very neat, clean. We will definitely stay here again.
“Best in Mackinaw City - also lowest price! =D”
This was a great hotel, I appreciated the extra towels, the shampoo/conditioner provided, and the overall cleanliness and newness of everything. We recieved a discount for booking online, so we paid the lowest price that I could find for all the hotels. Breakfast was good too. =) Sad I didn't get to try to pool, If I'm ever in Mackinaw city again, I will definately stay again.
“Extremely nice Stay. Found our Favorite Hotel.”
My wife and I arrived late at night. The clerk, Fred, was very, very nice. The pool was closed, but he opened it just for my wife and I. The pool was very warm. The room was spotless. The beds were very comfortable Temperpedic beds. We woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise. My wife and I had coffee on the deck. The breakfast was free and wonderful. The eggs were fresh and the sausage was very good. We go through Mackinaw often and will always stay here. The price was dirt cheap too.
“Friendly, clean, and convenient to ferries”
Hotel was right on the lake with a great view of the shore and Mackinac Island. The hotel was clean, modern and had excellent free breakfast food options.
“beautiful location”
The whole experience was very good. The staff was very nice.and helpful. The only comment I would make is that it is a very large hotel and it is quite far from the desk to the farthest room on the end which we had. It was not a problem for us but someone older it would be a hike. Also I can imagine when the hotel is full the breakfast area would be hard pressed to hold everyone . But the breakfast we had was delicious.
“Great Service, Great Location, Fantastic Beach, Good Location”
My boys gave me a surprise Father's Day Gift. They rented a room for me in Mackinaw City. It could not have been better. We walked to all the nightlife. W e walked to our favorite restaurant. We walked to my favorite Bar, and we walked to my favorite shop, the Harley Store where they bought me a nice jacket. The room was absolutely clean. And absolutely comfortable. I did not think I would. Like Temperpedic mattresses, but I have not had a better night's sleep. We spent the evening watching the sunset while lounging on the beach. I had a great time. The breakfast in the morning was great.
“Fantastic View- Sunrise was Breathtaking”
We stayed here the night before we went to Mackinac Island. This hotel was lovely; the rooms were clean and elegantly appointed. We will be staying here every time we pass through. The pool was clean and warm. The beds were comfortable with nice new mattresses. The balcony was a nice touch. They even let us leave our car in the hotel lot for free while we go to the Island for the next 3 days. Next year, we will skip the Island and stay at this hotel for our entire vacation. The fresh fruit on the free breakfast bar was unexpected.
