“The place for skiers”
I stayed in Arapahoe inn the second year in a row. If you are not expecting 5-star hotel service, this is the plays to stay. I came to Colorado for skiing and I did not regret at all picking less expensive hotel. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly. The value for hotel price is excellent. I was surprised by complimentary breakfasts which are far more generous than typical "continental breakfasts". Seeing other skiers from the hotel window was also nice. There is a spa to rest after skiing and wireless internet. I gave 4 stars for location because if you are a skier you have to walk or drive to Keystone ski lifts. It was not a problem for me but next door lifts happen.
“A Great Stay”
My brother and I stayed at the Arapahoe for four nights- service was good; Tom, the front desk staff was friendly, and you can't beat the price for the location and amenities. Five minute walk to Peru Lift, great breakfast w/ coffee, juice, bagels, waffles. Room was clean and had a microwave and fridge. Walking distance to restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!
“Great Location and Comfortable Stay”
The Arapahoe Inn is a basic 2 star hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and was designed well (ex. they had a tiled space by the closet for wet boots/skis to go; had shampoo, soap, deodarant, & lotion for the dry weather; had a microwave, refrigerator, & dining table, etc). The breakfast was coffee and bagels and the front desk service was fine. The location was great as it is right on the main street in Keystone and is next door to a good Mexican restaurant (Dos Locos).
“Lovely Arapahoe Inn.”
The Arapahoe Inn is an excellent place to stay in the Keystone Area. It's within walking distance to Mountain House where you can purchase lift tickets and hop right on the Peru lift. There's a great continental breakfast in the morning, and you get the sense that this place is a true family-ran business. In this day and age- you know it's great to support family business as opposed to 'big business'. I would definitely stay here again.
“Nice hotel, super close to Keystone :)”
We enjoyed our stay.
“Real Nice”
This is a very nice and convenient hotel, withing walking distance from the ski lift (across the street) Room was confortable and clean. Breakfast was not the best but OK.
“Very pleased”
Was nervous when I saw the bad reviews. Everything was perfect. No problems with employess or anyone. Maybe I just didn't give them a reason?!
“Great Value”
The hotel was great. I was a little worried, because some review listed it as being ghetto, but it was actually very nice. I had the two room family suite. It had two queen beds, one pull out bed, two tvs, two separate bathrooms with a shower/bath and sink each, and a full kitchen with glass top stove, microwave, and refrigerator. The breakfast in the morning consisted of bread, bagels, and toaster waffles, and juices and coffee. It was good enough. The hotel also had wireless internet which worked reasonably well. The hotel was about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the bottom of the lift. We did easily in ski boots there and back. No need to take the shuttle Definitely a great value.
“Awesome”
Great place to stay, continental breakfast was awesome, will be staying there again
“Budget and ski'ers/snowboarders”
This hotel is a great place to setup a base to go snowboarding or skiing, i went with 5 friends and we loved the place. The ski lifts were 5-6minutes walk away and we didnt have to drive around anywhere. If you plan to go to keystone to snowboard and ski and are on a budget you'll enjoy this hotel. On the otherhand if you plan to spend most of your time in your hotel this is not the place for you. It is an average hotel that is only ment as a place to sleep/shower and store your clothes.
