“Great Ski Destination”
We had a great time at the Mountain Thunder Lodge. We had a one bedroom condo with full kitchen and a hide away sofa. The lodge and the room were both very up to date and comfortable. We took a rental car from the airport because it was cheaper than taking a shuttle, and the lodge had a parking garage in it's basement that was very convenient. We used the hot tubs located in the middle of the property which were very nice and a convenient distance from all the rooms. The Lodge is in a great location, it is a short walk to the gondola that takes you up to the base of the mountains, so you do not have to pay for parking. It is also a short walk to main street and all the restaurants and shops. And if you need to go to someplace a little out of the way the breckenridge shuttle is free! Later on in the season when there is more snow there is a path that you can take all the way from the top of the hill down to the lodge. My wife and I had a great time in breckenridge, and would definitely come back to the mountain thunder lodge again!
“Could not have been better!”
This was our third year staying at Mountain Thunder. We love the locationto skiing and walkability to the entire town. We would recommend this to anyone who loves the convenience of a condo with hotel style ammenities.
“Great condo in Breckenridge”
We had a 2 bedroom townhome with garage. This is the third time we have stayed at Moountain Thunder. The condo was great. It was clean, like new and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They have a shuttle service that was very convenient and the location was great - near the gondola and near the town. Only complaint is the internet access. Had some problems with it. For the price and type of condo they should include wifi free but they charge afer an hour and we had problems getting it to work or reaching the internet help line. The staff at the lodge were very helpful and were able to get it fixed for us. We would definitely stay there the next tiem we go to Breckenridge.
“Awesome”
Beautiful Hotel. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Same with the shuttle service. The only negative note is the hours of the fitness room. Does not open before 8.00am. But beside that, I will return there
“Great property, outstanding location”
We really enjoyed our stay at MTL. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit was very comfortable. We were missing several kitchen utensils and items, and the front desk staff promplty got them for us. We walked around Breckenridge and concluded that this was the best location - easy access to the gondola (we took the hotel shuttle), great ski run to the back door, and a few minutes walk to Main Street. MTL has a shuttle service... Use it - they are so quick. Never had to wait more than a few minutes for service. Great Stay.... Thank You!!!
“Highly Reccomended”
Beautiful new units, well equiped kitchen with balcony. Very close to Main St and across the street from the BreckConnect Gondola to Peak 8. A great location for both summer and winter visits.
“Mt. Thunder Lodge”
We enjoyed a snowy Dec weekend at Mt. Thunder Lodge. The room was very nice and the view amazing. We particularly appreciated the free shuttle service and covered parking.
“Will be going back”
Great place, extremely helpful staff!
