“Great Location”
Great place and with the best location... the view of our room was great, just as advertised on the pictures in the site. they let us do the check in before 2 and the staff was very nice at all times..
“Happy Hotel”
Eighth floor room with view of the Sydney harbor that was priceless. Dogs in the lobby. Umbrellas ready for us when it rained. Cheerful staff. We loved our 8-day stay at the Macleay.
“We would go back again”
We were extremely happy with every aspect of our stay.
“Excellent position and service”
From the moment we arrived (about 11.30 pm) until we left 11 days later, we had superb service from all the staff in the hotel. We had a room with a view of the bridge and opera house (well worth the extra money) which was stunning either by day or night. The hotel is very convenient for walking into the city itself and is on the bus and train routes. Lots of information available from the hotel for trips and places to see. The large supermarket is right opposite. Facilities in the hotel are excellent - with a perfectly adequate kitchenette. The room was clean and the domestic staff were always very friendly and helpful. Re another reviewer's comments, I believe the lifts are being replaced shortly - the staff themselves admitted they had been a little erratic recently. Overall, the Macleay helped to make our first visit to Sydney a very enjoyable experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.
“Very Handy Location”
Really happy with stay at this hotel. Excellent service and cleanliness. Great location, right in the middle of everything, Woolsworths across the road, trendy restaurants and cafes all around. Quiet, sound proof rooms, great amenities. Would stay here again and recommend to all.
“Excellent location & nice ammenities”
If you don't mind walking a bit, which we didn't, this was an excellent stay. We openned our window to a fantastic view of the Sydney Opera House and Harbor area. You do have to pay bit more for this view, but it was worth it! Included is a kitchenette which allowed us to make our morning meal and save a lot of money as restaurants were expensive. There is a grocery and deli conveniently located across the street. Staff was very helpful and cordial.
“Very Impressed ! Love it !”
We are very satisfied with the service of Macleay Serviced Apartments. We had warm welcome and best service during our stay at the hotel. The room including all the equipments was very good. In fact, it was better than we have thought before. We had room with sea and bridge view - my son was so excited and enjoyed it very much. I would like to give two thumbs for this hotel and highly recommend it to any family who would like to visit sydney, especially with children.
“Well situated for all amenities, very impressed”
a very pleasant hotel/apartments. Staff very helpful everything ticked our boxes
“Excellent Hotel”
This hotel was excellent !! The rooms were large for a non-US hotel and the fridge and microwave were a huge plus for the family. The location is within steps of several restaurants and cafes. The train station is within an easy walk and Woolworths is directly across the street for water and snacks. There are coffee shops on every block. This part of town is great for nights and evenings. We would stay again any chance we had.
“A gem hotel in Sydney”
I just returned from a 1 week stay at the Macleay Serviced Apartments Hotel in Sydney. This is a great hotel with some of the nicest staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. The view from the Harbour View Rooms are awesome, and I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone!
