Property Amenities
Centrally located in Taipei's financial and commercial center, Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taipei has a nautical theme. The lobby and hotel facilities are outfitted with oar-shaped doorknobs, anchor emblems, and artwork inspired by the Thames. Ceilings are adorned with wave-patterns and Swarovski crystals resembling stars.
The hotel features a full-service heath spa with 7 treatment rooms, as well as a health club with fitness equipment, a spa tub, and a sauna. The two hotel restaurants serve gourmet Chinese and French fare, and the Laurel Lounge is open daily for beverage service.

Rooms
Each of the 95 guestrooms at Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taipei is designed to resemble a cabin in a luxury cruise liner. All rooms have city views and are decorated with Dubini furnishings, imported from Italy. Rooms are air-conditioned and amenities include 42-inch plasma televisions with HBO and ESPN, DVD players, complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, and minibars. Complimentary newspapers are provided daily. Marble bathrooms feature 24k gold-plated sinks and faucets, and antique showerheads. Bathrooms also include complimentary toiletries and hair dryers, and some have jetted tubs.
All guestrooms are non-smoking.

“Excellent hotel”
A great hotel with excellent service.
“modern luxury and business convenience”
Very clean, very friendly service, good breakfast buffet for a Westerner as well, LAN internet in room, wi-fi in the loobby, acceptable gym - free weights, a few machines, 2 tread mills, 2 elliptical and 2 bikes. No dresser in a standard room - inconvenience. All restaurants in Taipei non smoking. Local food is fat and greasy.
“Great Hotel! I'd stay there again for sure!”
I've stayed at Evergreen Laurel Hotel, Taipei, several times already and I've got to say this is a great hotel! Very secured hotel with clean rooms as well to give you a comfortability level of 10 out of 10! Free bottled water which comes in handy. Free Wi-Fi internet in lobby and that's definitely convenient for business as well as leisure. Hotel service is nice and friendly. However, the inclusive breakfast buffet is not all that great but it's included. I highly recommend this hotel to future guests if you're not into paying too much! It's affordable and comfortable! Wonderful!
“Excellent in all ways”
Good price, great buffet breakfast and the airport express bus stops at the front door every 20 minutes. What more could you ask for? Located about 4 blocks from a night market with shopping for the ladies and good food for everyone.

The hotel was immaculate, staff was VERY friendly and accomodating. Free wireless internet a plus.

Property was clean and luxurious. Room was very quiet. Bathroom spotless. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Very satisfied, would stay there again when I'm in Taipei. Only downside was there was no wireless that I could get to work, but I could plug in and get internet access. I've been to Taipei several times and this property is the top of my list now... Also used fitness room several times, and the breakfast was good too.
“Nice stay - bling bathrooms”
Hotel is nice. Very comfortable bed, firm but not hard, almost equal to Starwood beds just not as plush. A cheap and clean EVA airport bus stops directly outside the hotel, and runs direct from hotel to airport (I think there are stops in the other direction though). We had a huge room on the top floor, near the elevator. You can hear the elevator machinery constantly but if you're farther down the hallway it should be fine. Be prepared for the most shockingly "bling" bathrooms you've ever seen. It's not bad, just... unique! No subway nearby, but for cab trips around town, it's very central. You never feel like you need a long cab ride to get to anywhere.
“GOOD PLACE TO STAY!!!”
I am satisfied with my stay at Evergreen Laurel. Everything is good except for a few. The rooms are well maintained but the carpets. Breakfast is free but they could have change sheets before serving the next customer. Overall, it's a good experience.

“Friendly hotel, but no more than an average local hotel”
Eva Air converted its old office building into this hotel after it relocated its main office to a new building some years ago. You can see the limitation of a building was not built to be a hotel. The building is next to an alley. Half of hotel rooms facing the alley have windows. I imaging the other half rooms would be entirely closed by walls. Room is clean and Internet connection is fast and good. Lobby has combined function for guest registration and lounge. The space is too small for both. I was not impressed with the facility. Staff was very friendly and tried to help whenever they can. Nearby areas are convenient for grocery shopping and food. I was not impressed, but don't mind to stay here again if the price is right.
