“World Class Accomodations”
Just remodelled lobby and east wing rooms. Outrageously beautiful. 5-star quality. If it fits the budget, don't think about staying anywhere else. Avoid the high-pressure and overpriced shops on the lower level. Subway stop on same block.

For a Businessman in Taipei it has a very convenient location. Multiple restaurants, facilities and welcoming staff ensure any trip goes smoothly.

Beautiful hotel with a spectacular view from the elevator as you move up the atrium. Staff is very accommodating and knowledgable. Tailors in the shops at the basement are great and FAST (hold out for a bit and you can get a really good price). Could not beat the quality of some of some of the small jade trinkets. Hotel will be very nice in July when the renovation is complete (access to the workout and pool will be resumed).
“Excellent hotel, but you're paying premium for location”
I usually stay at a Marriott; however, Taiwan doesnt have a Marriott. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised. The room is spacious and the breakfast (which is included in the price) is awesome. The fruit is fresh and the buffet is designed to serve many cultures, so there are many kinds of cuisines to taste from. The location is ideal if you are planning to HSR (high speed train) down south. Its about 10 min walk to the train station. The local subway is less than 500 ft from the hotel and is simple to take. They have a free internet cafe with video in the lobby. There is also a 7-11 a half block away from the hotel.

In Asia, I have stayed in six different Sheraton hotels so I believe that I have a fair background to comparitively evaluate this hotel. In general, the Sheraton Taipei was a clean, comfortable oasis in the middle of a busy city. It had every convenicne associated with a 5 star hotel and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I appreciate that the hotel has Western amenities to make me feel comfortable. The hotel is very close to the high speed rail station and a very short walk to a major subway stop. If you are looking for a centrally located, comfortable, and fully ameniable hotel in Taipei, this is the the place. I also felt that the price was reasonable for the quality of the hotel and location. I would definitely stay here again.
“Stay at Sheraton Taipei”
sheraton Taipei hotel is conveniently located right at the center of Taipei. Everythiing as in everything is accessible. There is a bus stop at the side of the hotel where we got off and took from and to the airport. The fare is just 90nt. The MRT is about 20 meters away from the main entrance. The hotel lobby is very spacious. Their front desk staffs are very accommodating and speaks good English. My only sad comment is there is NO FREE WIFI in the room. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
“Taipei's best hotel”
This hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere. It is a very modern hotel with all the comforts that one would expect. The hotel staff speaks both Mandarin and English. It is also conveniently located. The Taipei subway (MRT) has a station entrance on the same block as the hotel, which makes it easy to get around Taipei. One can either take the MRT to the Taipei train station (one stop away) or walk there in about 10 minutes. If one does not mind walking the Chiang Kai-shek memorial is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The only slight negative I have for this hotel is that broadband internet access is somewhat expensive ($20 USD) a day. However this is consistent with some other hotels I stayed at in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
