The stay was OK. Nothing spectacular about the property but knowing the price during countdown, I just have to accept it. Good point: Very near to Beimen station which brings you to Taoyuan Airport.

Great location, poor condition
Location was great, The room wasn't so much. The bathroom was in bad condition, the floor was sunken in at places. There were two types of sockets in the room (110 and 220), the 220 was clearly burnt and blackened (probably for obvious reasons). Hallways smelt bad. Not accessible (several stairs lead to elevator). Elevator always stops at the 6th floor (by design. For some reason). Staff didn't know English very well, and wasn't very professional.

Staff were very friendly and provided a lot of good information and also good service, location was great, 2 mins walk to xinmengding market, I would recommend to friends!

Location is not too far from Ximending. There is a good braised pork rice eatery just below the building, a 7-Eleven opposite, and a medicine shop nearby. Room is filled with mosquitoes, and the lift is slow.

Excellent Location in Ximending!
The staff at The Longstay were very helpful and accommodating of every request. The newly renovated rooms are very comfortable and modern looking and have good WIFI and TV channels. The location in Ximending is excellent and easy to find.

It is located in a very good location in Ximending. You can easily walk to the hotel from MRT Ximen station. Lots of restaurants, shops, and street food. The only downside is that our room smells smoke although we booked non-smoking room.

Hotel nice place to stay but need take note its nor big for large size people and there steps up to the lift at the ground floor so need to carry your luggage up these steps. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Nice budget hotel in a good location. Its close enough to the Ximen action but in a quieter area. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Ximen station is about a 10 minute walk. Being so close to Ximen Walker, theres so many eateries & shopping to choose from. Room size is ok for 2 people & wifi works well. If your just looking for somewhere on a budget to sleep without all the luxeries then Longstay is perfect.

Hotel manager is good and give clear directions & introduce places of interest & getting around ximen. Hotel location average, 6-8 mins walk to ximen mrt. Room is ok but pillow soft. Bathroom need some touch up. Overall, ok.

I would like to commend all the staff. The frontdesk officers are super nice. The room is just about the right size, bed and pillows are comfy. However the floor carpet is kind of dirty. I think they need to maintain the floor carpet well.

Nice but far from station
It’s too far from the mrt station. Google says 8 mins walk but it’s more than that for a lady and especially when you are lugging a luggage. You can easily get many hotels much nearer to the station. That said, the rooms are nice and clean.

Central location and comfortable
We stayed for two nights. On arrival the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Gave us a map and briefed us on the key attractions, shops and eateries around that area. Offered us some discount vouchers for shopping. Room space was sufficient, nicely lit, bed was comfortable and clean. Toilet was a tad too small. There was no space for putting makeup accessories in front of the vanity mirror. Due to a late flight, we requested for a late check out but could not all the rooms were all occupied. Instead they offered us the use of their bathroom with toiletries and towels without any charge. We enjoyed our stay and would not have second thoughts of going back to stay in the same place.

The only nice thing is the staff
We stayed here for 3 nights. We booked 2 rooms and is located on the 6/F and 9/F, and because it is full house, we cannot ask for change. We almost want to change the hotel, because we feel itchy the whole time because of the bedbug. Same, we didn't ask for change for the room. I was stung by one on the second night unfortunately. The curtain also feels dusty and one pillow is with stains. We also need more than 10 times to learn open our room door 1909 at first, but there is a lady staff taught us. We can hear the strange sound caused by the lift all the time from our room. The air conditioning if you turn the fan to second high, it starts making a large noise.

There is a small flight of staircase to get to the lift. Not recommended for people who are not able to carry their luggage / heavy luggage for a good 5 steps. Staffs are very friendly and gave a good recommendation of food places nearby. Room lighting not as strong as shown in the photo but there is ample sunlight from outside. Plus point is that there are windows (a common sight for hotels in Taipei to not have windows) and reasonably spacious.

Hotel for value!
Definitely a value hotel. It is right next to Ximen Ding and 5min walk from the metro. It also has many convenient stores around plus food and local shops! Definitely recommend this if you're looking for a clean and simple place to stay on a budget trip.

10 minute walk to Ximen station. Many nearby restaurants & convenience stores. Staffs and the owner was very nice. Even arranged our last minute request for a private transfer to the airport. The owner personally helped during our check-out. Gesture was very nice and thoughtful. Owner gifted us with wine on New Year’s Eve. Just need some refurbishing especially the rooms to restore its chicness.

Excellent location. The room was quiet in spite of being centrally locates, close to public transportation and lively night markets. On checkin the staff was super helpful and took the time to share tips about things to see and do.

Affordable and comfortable stay here. Hotel was cosy and the staff here always greeted us with a smile and inquired if we needed anything.
