“Great Service and Location”
Great Service and Location! I would recommend to anyone. Is a bit pricey for the budget traveler
“A wonderful oasis in busy Taipei.”
We stayed at the Grand Formosa Regent for three nights early February 2010. We were greeted by enthusiastic and capable staff and our first impressions got even better during our stay. Our room was luxurious, the bed firm but accommodating the way we like it. We were surprised how reasonably we could eat in the hotel restaurant(s) and one late night when the restaurant was closing we were escorted to a small dining room for club members and hotel guests. Food quality is very high. We asked the hotel concierge for some advice reserving High Speed Rail tickets for the day of our departure. This young man and his colleagues rescued our trip by figuring out that with Chinese New Year, the damage from Typhoon Morakot and a massive pop concert scheduled for Hualien County, trains were either not running or booked. This resourceful concierge helped us change our plans by securing us air tickets instead of the train for the trip from the south west to the east coast. In addition a hotel staff volunteered to go in person to the High Speed Rail Station to buy our tickets for us! Service does not get better than that!
“Amazing!”
Amazing value, spacious and very clean rooms. Staff spoke excellent English and location was very central for taxi (very inexpensive relative to North American taxis). Would definitely stay here again.
“Nice hotel”
The motorcycle around the hotel makes the environment around the hotel look bad. The hotel itself is nice though.
