DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tampa Bay is 3 miles from International Plaza shopping and dining and less than 4 miles from the Rocky Point Golf Course. Downtown Tampa is 8 miles away. A complimentary shuttle transports guests to and from the airport and destinations within a 3-mile radius.
A heated waterfront pool offers excellent views of Old Tampa Bay and the mangrove-blanketed wetlands of a nature preserve. Poolside service is available for lunch and dinner. The restaurant's outdoor terrace overlooks the pool area and the bay beyond.

Rooms
Suites were renovated November 2007 and feature the Sweet Dreams® by Doubletree Sleep Experience bed: a plush-top mattress that is triple sheeted with high-thread-count linens; a down duvet; and a supply of jumbo pillows.
Also featured are separate living areas with sofa beds, compact refrigerators, and microwaves. Each suite has two flat-panel LCD TVs with HBO, pay movies, and video games. Sweet Dreams® clock radios come with MP3 connectivity. High-speed Internet access and remote printing are available for surcharges. Newspapers are delivered on weekday mornings.

“Excellent Stay”
Stayed at this property for 3 nights on business and thuroughly enjoyed my stay. All rooms have a good view but mine had an excellent view of the bay. I would stay here again and not hesitate to bring my family as well. The hotel staff was incredible. A+
“Doubletree suites Tampa bay.”
Excellent service,food and facilities.I ate in the restaurant for breakfast.The buffet was excellent consisting of all the significant breakfast meats ,cereals ,bakery items,eggs,grits,and dairy products.I also ordered out for room service and was promptly served delicious proportions of the items ordered.I ate in for dinner one evening which was a delectable experience of strip steak ,seasoned potatos,vegetables and wine.The view overlooking the bay was stunning and calmingThe room was comfortable and inviting.

Hotel also offers transfer to cruise terminal for $10.00 and can be booked at reception. Only stayed 1 night here but it was perfect. Clean quiet and very comfy beds.2 tv's micro also coffee with discs for free.free cookies on arrival. shuttle from airport is free also.

My family stayed one night at the Doubletree in Tampa before going down to Naples for our spring break. We wish we could have stayed one more night as we really enjoyed the size of the suite. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

“Great experience”
The staff was amazing and very friendly here. My room was amazing and very clean. The view of the bay was amazing and I felt very comfortable here. I would recommend this hotel for any occasion and I will definitely be back.
“Speaker seminar”
All suites: large, comfortable room with a microwave and frig. The AC was noisy but not deafening - I slept through it. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Free shuttle service not only to from airport, but to surrounding area was excellent, flexible, and ran until 10:45 pm. The nearby Grand Hyatt's (with a considerably more expensive room rate) shuttle was rigidly scheduled and ended at 6:15 pm! It was great to look out on the water. I would definitely stay there again.
“Perfect place to stay in Tampa, FL.”
I recently stayed at the Hilton Suites Tampa Bay twice in one week. The first night we arrived late, on a late flight, we were so tired we just wanted to rest. The front desk woman was wonderful--she greeted us and checked us in as quickly as she could so we could go to our room. The second night was a week later as we had an early flight out and wanted to be near the airport. It happened to be my son's birthday and we had spent the day at Busch Gardens, but I was wishing I had a birthday cake for him. I called down to the restaurant and Justin was wonderful. He offered me a choice of cakes and when I went down to get it he had found a balloon to go with the cake. It was a beautiful carrot cake and my son was so pleased. That is the kind of service that makes a hotel stand out. Justin is a gem! Both nights we stayed we had a lovely room with a beautiful view. It is right on the bay and the pool overlooks the bay. It is really lovely and very quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Tampa, FL.

Wonderful hotel...we ate way too many cookies....the front desk staff was extremely helpful!!!
