Property Amenities
This Hyatt Place has dropped the traditional lobby and front desk in favor of a contemporary open area called the Gallery, with a check-in kiosk and the expertise of a host, who is available to help with check-in, guest tours, and even food preparation, 24 hours a day.
The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee is served each morning.
Complimentary amenities include use of the TV room with its 42-inch flat-panel screen and seating for four; use of a computer with high-speed Internet access and a printer, all in the Gallery area; parking; access to the fitness center; and hotel-wide wireless Internet access. An outdoor swimming pool and handicapped parking are on site.
Rooms
All guestrooms at this Tampa Hyatt Place hotel feature Hyatt's signature Grand Bed: Sealy Posturepedic mattress; 250-thread-count triple sheeting; down blankets; double down-surround pillows. Separated from the bed by a partial wall, the sitting area provides a queen sofa bed and desk.
42-inch, flat-panel, high-definition TVs allow guests to plug in laptops, and MP3 players. Satellite channels include 11 channels of high-definition programming and SportsNet. Both wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are complimentary; one of the two telephones is cordless.
Refrigerators, coffeemakers, and wet bars are included. Bathrooms provide granite countertops and Portico white-ginger scented bath amenities. Most bathrooms have a roll-in shower.

“Mini Getaway”
Just stayed one night with the family but we really all liked the fact that it was very close to Busch Gardens which is why we chose to stay there and that continental breakfast was included so we didn't have to waste time stopping somewhere to have breakfast before heading to the park.

Everything was great. Except the toilet was in need of a nerw flapper and valve. Otherwise perfect for a hotel close to Busch gardens for a short stay. There is a great Deli within walking distance.

“Great for Us on Spring Break”
We had a great time. 2 Adults, 3 Kids including a toddler. Room just right for us (clean and comfortable). I would definitely stay here again. It's true there are train tracks adjacent to hotel, but during our 7 night stay, the train never came :-) Tip: Reserve shuttle to Busch Gardens at least a day in advance! It will save you the parking fee at the park. Tip: Best beaches for toddlers and older kids (Fort de Soto and Honeymoon Island).
“Great hotel!”
I wish I could find this hotel in a major city!!!!! The Staff was excellent and they have a marvelous buffet breakfast included! The "the price is right' also!!! The only drawback for Seniors: there are no Bellboys on staff. I guess if you ask for assistance, they would provide it.

We stayed here for 6 days, and it was a great experience. The rooms were great, and nice size. The bed was very comfortable, the tv was huge and the breakfast was great. Would defiently stay here again.

The hotel was great. The staff was very attentive and super nice. The pool was heated and well maintained. The room was clean, roomy, and very upto date. The price was reasonable. The food was great. The breakfast was a mixture of a buffet and contential, overall good.
