“Beautiful and Relaxing”
This place would rank high by anybodies standards. Very large and nicely appointed rooms. Helpful staff from check in to check out. Looking forward to our next visit to Taos and the El Monte Sagrado
“Beautiful hotel, will return”
A beautiful hotel with exquisite grounds and rooms. We only stayed one night due to our schedule but would highly recommend this property.
“Love staying here!”
We have stayed here several times and we are never disapointed. The hotel is beautiful, the food is great, and the staff is always so helpful and friendly.
“great place”
awesome, excellent, and wonderful.
“Nicest Hotel in Taos”
I would highly recommend this hotel. It is beautifully decorated and very luxurious. The spa was great and so was the restaurant. It was about 20 minutes away from the ski mountain, but overall it was wonderful.
“Very nice hotel - and part of the Marriott family!”
Very nice room and accomodations. Shower and tub was difficult to enter and exit. (could be dangerous)
“Great hotel, great location”
Lovely hotel, fabulous location near plaza. Very quiet, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated room with wood burning fire place. Fridge and coffee maker in room. All rooms overlook a private court yard. Underground parking extra fee, but very convenient. Saff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant good quality food and pricing. Really enjoyed our stay, loved Santa Fe, loved this hotel! Would definitely stay again.
“el monte sagrado review”
Food and drinks were great at the hotel restaurant and bar. The landscaping and rooms were really pretty. Pets are allowed, which is great. The rooms have a huge garden tub with jets.
“El Monte Sagrado, Autograph Collection Not what I expected”
Several expenses not advertised prior to booking. Parking fee $12.00 a day, and some other tacked on fee. The room was NOT sound proof. As fancy as it looks from the outside you figure they could of spent some money on sound proofing. Over all a lot of money for what we got!
“World traveler who likes quiet.”
The noise level from the hallways was quite excessive. Every door once opened automatically slammed shut reverberating into your room. Walls are thin, as well as sound from rooms above you may be heard. No soundproofing whatsoever. Sleep was disturbed on both of my two stays at this hotel. Security was very lax. Each building's door to guest rooms was invariably open and unlocked until much later in the evening. Noise level brought this 5 star property down to a 2 star for me. Also noticed a credit card bill that I need to call for clarification on, I may have been overcharged. Must say rooms are luxurious, and in an exquisite setting, however, if you are unable to obtain a good nights sleep, it is all for naught and wasted money.
