Perfectly located hotel. Enables you to park your car once and spend the rest of your visit walking around town for all hiking, hot springs, shopping and dining experiences.

“The Alps Outside Your Door”

This modest hotel is a treasure: The rooms are lovely, the bed comfortable, and the setting perfect--right on Main Street in the heart of Ouray. All the rooms appear to have a view of either mountains or historic buildings, and each room has a sitting area outside to enjoy that view. The only drawback was that there was no complimentary breakfast. But otherwise, it was a great value.

“Excellent location”

Good value hotel in a wonderful location in Ouray. The only minor point was that the bathroom in my room was looking a little past its best, but it was still clean and worked fine, and the rest of the room was great. I'd definitely go back.

Wonderful town and wonderful people. Truly one of the most beautiful places in the whole world! Great Craft Beer and food across the street at Ouray Brewery! More great beer at Ourayale House!

“Great place to stay”

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great. I really liked having a refrigerator and a microwave in my room. The washer and dryer on-site came in handy as well. All in all, this is the kind of hotel I like to stay in.

Great place. Not upscale, but very comfortable...and clean. Owners very helpful. Love the funky jazz music in the rooms when you enter (Muzak) that can be turned on or off with a switch. Adequate parking for guests. Within easy walking distance of most everything in town.

Liked the Sinatra music piped into the room when we arrived. Great margaritas across the street.

Very friendly service owners couldn't do enough for us, hotel is right in the middle on the main street, don't have to walk to far, for pubs and restaurants, hope to stay again

friendly, close to all activities; since no breakfast is included, they give a coupon for reduced buffet at nearby resturant and it is great!!!
