“What A deal”
Found the hotel to be a great deal for the price I would recommend the hotel to everyone.
“Loved the Hotel”
I thought the hotel was great. The front desk was very helpful in getting us taxis and a taxi escort to take us around the island one day. They answered all our questions and were very polite and pleasant. The pool was beautiful with a great view. Close to town ,so we could walk there. The buffet breakfast fell short.....there was a large group there who ate early, and by the time we got down there, had to look for a clean table and some of the food items were not replenished. Otherwise we loved Terceira and the hotel.
“Great Views and knowledgeable hotel staff”
After doing research I wasn't expecting much from the hotels on Terceira. I was pleasently surprised when I arrived at my hotel. The staff spoke great English and were very accomadating. All rooms face the ocean with the backdrop of the pool and the mountain. There was a small balcony off every room and the scenery was definitely the best part of the hotel. The staff was able to help us rent a car and provided a map with recommended sites for us to see and restaurants to try. The hotel restaurant was just ok as every night there was a buffet dinner and the food was more pricey than what we found in the surrounding area. The only downside to the hotel was the bed was just 2 full beds made up separately and pushed together. Therefore with a giant crack down the middle and our own separate sheets and comforter my husband and I felt like we were sleeping in separate beds. The highlight of the hotel is that the complimentary continental breakfast is delivered to your room each morning, you fill out a card the night before to place your order and time you want it delivered. The breakfast arrived promptly at the requested time each morning with an assortment of breads, jams, cheese, and ham. The maid service kept forgetting to leave a card for the next mornings breakfast so each night was had to go down to the front desk to request this. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

“Everything you need on vacation!”
The staff was very friendly and best of all, most of them spoke English! They guided us to great restaurants. The hotel looks just like the pictures. I definatly recommend this hotel.

I really liked the hotel, very beautiful setting. Good amenities, great location! I was there on business for 5 days and i throughly enjoyed my stay. Hotel staff was good.Very helpful, good attitude.

“Paradise”
The Terceira Mar Hotel is not the most friendliest hotel. A good majority of the staff do not speak English and are not very outgoing. What the staff lacks the hotel itself makes up for. It is a a bit of "Paradise". If you want to relax and enjoy a gorgeous relaxing vacation, this is the hotel to stay at. Their is swimming pool that is out of this world and can be enjoyed by both young and old.
“Not great, not terrible”
This hotel is a duality of circumstances. When you walk in the front it doesn't look like anything special and the only word to describe it would be bland. However, the view from my room (the ocean side) was very nice. The hotel on this side is better taken care of. The employees were nice, but you won't confuse the service for what you might find in Japan or Singapore. Overall, this hotel suited my minimal needs, but I wouldn't go on vacation at this facility.
