“recommended”
Stayed on 1st night and last night of 8 days trip. Room is bit small by American standards, but it was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is really tight. Free internet, but no wi-fi in room. Ethernet cable is provided in the room. Excellent staff. There is a scale near front desk to check your luggage weight, to make sure you are not over the airline limit. Excellent location with walking distance to many good eating places nearby. Akasaka-Mitsuke subway station across the street makes easy access to many points of Tokyo.
“Enjoyed My Stay!”
A great hotel to stay while in Tokyo. The hotel has a classy appeal and has great room service. Location is also great in that the hotel is near the Metro station and across the street from a lively nightlife and many great eating establishments. There is an American restaurant in the same complex. I will stay again when in Tokyo.
“Have stayed at this hotel at least five times,”
The location of this hotel is terrific, no matter what the weather, since it is right across the street from numerous subway lines. If you want to grab a quick, inexpensive meal, there are many good, convenient fast food locations in the small streets across the street from the hotel.
“best hotel i've been in tokyo”
on expedia it shows 3.5 stars but i would rate this hotel 5 stars because our room was nice and clean, the location was great, plus theres a 7-11 down in the lobby.
“Excellent Tokyo hotel”
The room was much bigger than I had expected for the price. The location of the hotel is excellent, it's right in the middle of Tokyo and you can take the subway across the street to anywhere. Behind the subway station across the street, there are many streets filled with restaurants locals go to. If you have lots of luggage, you can take the airport limousine bus which stops right in front of the hotel to and from the airport.
“Akasaka Excel Tokyu hotel SUPERBE”
Being on the limousine bus line from Narita and across the street from two of the main Tokyo subway lines makes it's location superbe. The hotel, staff, room and free WIFI in every room makes it an excellent place to stay. I'll definitely book again.
“NIce hotel. Nice location.”
Nice hotel, situated near main subway station and restaurants. Staff was very helpful, spoke enough English to get us by and were very pleasant. Two thumbs up!!!
“Every year, and then some...”
Rates are on the "high end of the scale" for a 3-star hotel, however, location and services make it worthwhile. "Good Neighbor" status with Disney is an added bonus. If you're looking to utilize the premises and not get out and explore, then a 4 or 5 star hotel should suffice. This place is really a 4.5-star hotel "disguised" as an expensive "3."
“Great place!”
This was a great place to stay, close to metro stations and there is a shutle that takes you there from the airport and back for a fee. I loved the fact that the rooms had their own private bathroom (make sure you ask for it when booking your room) some hotels I was looking into did not offer this. The rooms are a decent size, small but not as small as others.
“Great location”
The hotel is extremely well situated right across the street from access to two major subway lines. It is also right down the street from Citibank, which is the only bank that accepts American ATM cards. I can't wait to return!
