“Will go back”
We went to Tokyo for three nights. We enjoyed a lot this hotel, we took one of their city view rooms, and night and day view was great. Our room was very clean, the staff was also very kind and everybody spoke good english. Definitely, if you can afford it, it is a great place to stay, near all the shops os shibuya and into the yamanote JR line (good for those with japan Rail pass)
“Stunning hotel”
Our family stayed here for 4 nights. We were really satisfied with the room particularly as they upgraded us to a corner room. It was breathtaking. They arranged a babysitter for us (a little pricey) which allowed us to try the Iron Chef's restaurant in the same building...again simply superb. This hotel may be a little pricier than others but the room was huge and very luxurious. The concierge and lobby staff were friendly and very willing and able to help when required.
“Ideal Location for a Tourist in Tokyo”
The Cerulean Tower Hotel is located in Shibuya, a vibrant shopping area with lots of good restaurants. If you travel with an ATM card as your source of funds, it's great because it has a 7-11 store inside, complete with an ATM that takes international cards and has an "English" option(not always easily found elsewhere in Japan). The hotel is located just 5 minutes from Shibuya train station. This is a major interchange for local rail and Metro services (including the Yamanote line (a train line that circles central Tokyo). One downside; there is a road to cross to get to the station. However there is a large footbridge in exactly the right place, but it does have a few steps, so if you have problems with stairs/steps you need to go about 200 metres further up the street (away from the station), where there is another footbridge with an elevator. The hotel itself is as good as any I have been in; friendly staff with good English (for those with poor Japanese), and the biggest benefit of all, The "Friendly Airport Limousine Bus" service from Narita airport goes door-to-door for around US$30 (current as at July 2008). We made a good choice to stay at Cerulean Tower.
“Great & Convenient place to stay”
Just stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
“Best of Shibuya”
The Cerulean Tower was amazing - one of the most immaculately presented hotels I've staying in. Highly recommend it! The location is brilliant and staff helpful.
“Very nice Tokyo hotel at great value!”
We booked at Cerulean Towers in Tokyo for six nights, on the Tower floors. Along with being on these floors is access to the Executive Salon on the 35th for complimentary breakfast, tea during the day and evening cocktails - all included with the room reservation on the Tower floors. INCREDIBLE VALUE! I figured that my wife and I save at least $100 per day, maybe $150, on using this for breakfast and cocktails - which would have been pricey if charged or done outside the hotel. Plus we got free internet in the room (wired) and got to check out at the Executive Salon concierge, which saved us from standing in line in the lobby fighting guests checking in. Tower Floors give you so many perks, and for just a bit extra per day versus regular rooms. Worth it!
“Quality hotel and service. Beautiful room and views.Friendly helpful staff. Restaurants expensive.”
First class.Good position near Shibuya trains and underground.I,d happily go back.
“Can't wait to go back.”
From the moment I stepped into the hotel to time of check-out, the very professional/friendly staff made everything seamless. The room was clean, spacious for Japanese standards, and the beds comfortable. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the main Shibuya train station so we felt pretty central to everything. The lounge at the top of the hotel had a great view and was very romantic. The hotel has a fair share of restaurants to eat in but we ventured out for most of our meals because it seemed more cost effective. The hotel was everything I was looking for and more. The icing on the cake was the door to door limousine bus service to Narita airport. We didn't even have to lift a finger for our luggage since the bellman took care of everything. Highly recommended!
“Great hotel in a great neighborhood”
We had a wonderful stay at the Cerulean Tower and would definitely stay again. The rooms are simple and clean, the view from the room is amazing and the staff couldn't be more helpful. We loved every minute of our stay. The location in Shibuya is perfect for exploring Tokyo and is literally two minutes from Shibuya station. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable luxury hotel in Tokyo.
“Very satisfied”
Lovely hotel that is very close to the Shibuya station. The service is first rate.
