The hotel has an on-site fitness club (surcharge for access) with treadmills, stationary bikes, dumbbells, and strength-training machines. “Comfort, value, location”
Small, clean rooms that pack everything in, from automated curtains to tiny tubes of toothpaste to comfortable yukata. I have never been to a business hotel that anticipated so many needs, so compactly & inexpensively. The bar/lounge is not great but there is no need to stay put at the hotel which is well located just about a block from Shimbashi station. Concierge service was really excellent, too, and well beyond anything I would have anticipated. I would definitely return, and would try other Dai-Ichi properties as well.
“Affrordable business hotel at great location”
I lived in Japan for several years and now I travel there at least once every quarter. I've been staying at the Dai-Ichi Hotel Annex for over 2 years now and I really enjoy its comfort, cleanliness and quality of service. You have it all without the usual Tokyo sky-rocketing prices.

This hotel has a great location it's one block away from Shimbashi metro station and three blocks from Ginza street.

The hotel staff excellent English and were very knowledgeable and helpful. We had an excellent brunch at the hotel restaurant.
“Great Hotel!!!”
Nicely located close to Shimbashi station & close walking distance to Ginza. The room was clean and included free internet. Best part was that the staff spoke english and the hotel concierge was excellent for providing advice, directions or making bookings for restaurants. The next time I am in Tokyo will definitely stay here again!

i stayed for 7 days,hotel was very clean,modern and good location.the staff were very plesant,courteous and very helpful for excursions:kamakura city,boat trip on sumda river,yokohama and local area.room was a standard double big enough for 1 person clean and comfortable,bathroom was small but spotless with clean linen every day.breakfast-room service-restaurant-gym was expensive.use local shops;lawson,7 eleven and large supermarket in shimbashi st for all your needs.lots of restaurants aroud shimbashi-ginza area.
“perfect entry into japan”
this hotel was great! close to the shimbashi station (4 blocks), where you can catch the JR line (shibuya, shinjuku) or the hibiya line (tsukiji, roppongi) or you can walk to ginza where all the great restaurants are. the hotel staff is very friendly, and speaks good english. The room is small, but well equipped, with a massage chair and a hd tv. It's got a clean, modern decor, that comforts you right as you walk into the room.
“LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION”
I have been living in Japan for 8 months and stayed at Dai Ichi hotel annex recently. It is in a GREAT location; you cannot beat it. Really close to Ginza, many places to eat within walking distance in all price ranges. I will stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!!!
“Hard to imagine better at the price”
Great location next to mainline train station, clean, quiet, air-conditioned!, gym next door (literally), Italian restaurant in basement. V helpful hotel manager will help with train tickets and excursions. Single room had double bed, TV, curtains that opened via touch of a button, space-age loo! - not a lot of storage space though. It is a pick up point for excursions; lots of coffee shops nearby; up-market deli/supermarket in Shimbasi station 5 mins away. Couldnt recommend it highly enough. Only slight issue relates to lack of English spoken by most staff but hotel manager has excellent English - overall, a v minor point for me.
“great location”
This hotel is located near Shimbashi station and makes travel a breeze. Only complaint would be the lack of storage space for clothes. The room comes equipped with a massage chair that was fantastic.
