“Location location and views”
Great service by all staff, helpful, kind and understanding. 360 metre walk to Shinjuku Station. similar distance or less to great restauarants and shops of every description.
“A Definite Recommend!”
For a hotel in Tokyo the size of the room is large and spacious. The room is the same size as your average hotel room in North America. In terms of service, it's amazing. The staff there is very friendly and very helpful. Everything was clean and each room has everything you need. For instance, small things like a tooth brush, hair brush, etc... are all there in individually packaged packages for your disposal. The location is a walk away from restaurants and on the other side of Shinjuku station there's plenty of shopping. I'd recommend this place to anyone. I didn't enjoy their breakfast buffet though. It was overpriced for the quality and selection. The only thing I thought was okay at the breakfast buffet was the Omelette. I never dined at any other time in the hotel -- that was my only hotel dining experience.
“Can't ask for more”
I was upgraded to the premium floors. `As a result, incredible value for money. Spacious, clean and perfectly equipped, there was nothing more I needed to ask. Great service for laundry/dry cleaning for same day return as well. The only regret was my pre booked airport bus seat wasn't reserved after all and caused a last minutes panic. Luckily 'only a few seat still left' so I managed to get on. While I was in Tokyo it was always bad weather. However, I didn't need to use umbrella even once, since the 5 minutes walk to Shinjuku station was 'roof over the head all the way'! For women with nice shoes and handbags, it was essential I would say!
“Great 4-star (if there is 50% off) Value”
I changed my reservation last minute to this hotel. We usually stay at Asakusa Ryokan Toukaisou for a fantastic value and customer service stay in Tokyo. However my friends were all in town for a wedding and based at this hotel. The hotel is superb and the staff are all bilingual and very helpful. Free and fast cable internet (wired) was a major positive too. If you can get it on sale, this is great value, but I am not someone who would stay here at their standard pricing (I generally avoid hotels in preference to private rooms at hostels). Cleaning was great. We left the DND sign when we did not want it done. We had loot from our shopping in Akihabara and Harajuku spread out everywhere, and nothing was touched, but the room was immaculate after cleaning. I highly recommend Keio Plaza Hotel. Very easy to find at the end of the Hotel and High Rise tunnel from the west exit of Shinjuku station, and there is an affordable Limousine Bus to both airports. Many thanks to all the staff for our fantastic 8 nights, and if we ever wish to stay in Shinjuku again (I prefer Asakusa for the slower pace and no crowds), then I shall definitely try and book here again.
“Shinjuku's Pillar of Service”
Keio Plaza certainly smashed my standards of what a 4 Star hotel should be. every one was extremely courteous, the bell lad even walked me inside my door and explained where a few things in the area were from the window referencing Tokyo Tower so as to orientate myself. I feel Keio deserve a very large two thumbs up and we will definitely be going back if we stay in Shinjuku again.
“Will choose Keio for my next trip to Shinjuku”
Highly Recommended ^^
“Great Location at a decent price”
The hotel is well located close to Shinjuku Station and hence a large number of train and subway lines. The staff are courteous and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated and in some need of refurbishing, which made the room a little less comfortable than I might have hoped. That said, I would go back.
“An Apartment in Shinjuku”
Wonderful views of Mount Fuji from our room in South Tower.Fantastic evening views from Aurora bar .My second stay in this hotel-couldn't fault it! Roomy, efficient with everything you need in basement plaza .Popular with japanese functions therefore plenty of Kimonos to admire!Ideal for walking to Meiji shrine and shopping! Easy walking access from Shinjuku station and therefore convenient via Narita Express from airport.
“Tokyo > Any City”
My wife and son (19 years old) stayed in the hotel for a week in early April of 2012. The Keio Plaza features an excellent location (you can get to a subway stop via the hotel directly, or walk the tunnels along the skyscrapers, or make a two-block beeline directly to Shinjuku Station), and the JR is easy to use with a Suica card. The convenience store and bakery on the lower level are great to have at hand, and the staff is on-point. We had no problems with communciation or service, and no problems with our room. The toilets are special. (Hint: turn AC on from the radio console between beds before setting the thermostat the wall.) The in hotel restaurants and bars are quite expensive and more for the business class with expense accounts than a typical family on vacation, but the department stores attached to Shinjuku Station feature approximately a thousand restaurants and an awesome foodhall in the basement of Odakyu. Check it out. Feast. I'm sure some will say this or that feature is outdated in some way, but we were in Tokyo and could care less--thrills are outside the hotel, not in it.
