The Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu occupies the fifth to twenty-fifth stories of the Mark City building. The hotel offers conference and meeting facilities, and restaurants with Japanese and Western cuisine. Multilingual staff, a safe deposit box, and 24-hour front desk service are available.

The Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu has 408 guestrooms, all of which feature views of downtown Tokyo; interiors have light-wood furnishings and wood desks with black/gold cloth-upholstered chairs, soft tempur foam pillows, and Japanese-style yukata cotton bathrobes. Other amenities include in-room safe, clock radio, internet access (surcharge), 32-inch flat-panel TV and DVD player. Bathrooms have seperate tubs and showers with a deep soaking bathtub, scale, and phone.

Shunsai - 25th-floor Japanese restaurant serving kaiseki courses and à la carte items. Bay window views of downtown Tokyo towards Shinjuku. Light wood tables and chairs, black tile floor, frosted glass interior partitions. Open from morning to night.
A Bientot - 25th-floor relaxed French restaurant. Bay windows with view of downtown Tokyo. Wooden floor and tables, cloth-upholstered chairs, abstract wall art. Breakfast buffet, à la carte items, and course meals for lunch and dinner.
Estacion Cafe - Lobby level café serving sweets, snacks, tea, beer, wine, and cocktails. Bay windows with views of downtown Shibuya on two sides, tile floor, atrium ceiling. Open from morning to night.
Recreation
Guests of the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu have access to the fitness center and pool of the Cerulean Tower Hotel (located four blocks away) for a surcharge of JPY5,000 (US$41–$45) per day. The fitness club contains treadmills, stationary bikes, dumbbells, and strength-training machines. Personal trainers are available. Elementary-age school children are not allowed in the pool.

“A terrific deal in a terrific location”
We stayed in a three bed room, and all of us were surprised at how spacious it was. Overlooking the Shibuya crossing, the hotel is ideally situated directly across the street from both the JR and Metro stations. The quality of the service and the stunning views make this more than just a 3.5 star hotel.
“Very nice place to stay in Tokyo”
Excellent location, right across the street from Shibuya station. This is a nice neighborhood for tourists who want to see glitzy Tokyo. Walking distance to Harajuku & Meiji shrine. Excellent restaurants, including Starbucks, in the plaza below the hotel (but they don't stay open very late). Our room was quiet and clean, with a captivating view of a small soccer field on the roof of Tokyu department store and the lights of the city. For all the pandemonium on the street below, the room was quiet. Good shower. Strongly recommend.

On the upper floors, the views are breathtaking of the city's skyscrapers.
“Very comfortable hotel”
This isn't my favorite neighborhood in Tokyo(a bit too young for me), but I'd definitely recommend the hotel. We were able to get a room for four so we didn't have to split up the family(a rarity in Japan). The room was large, comfortable and extremely clean, and had a Japanese style bathing room instead of just an ordinary tub and shower. The location is very convenient to the subway station (in fact, right above it)and there's good shopping nearby according to my daughter. The exterior glass elevators let us end each evening with a panorama of Tokyo lights -- nice touch.
“Location, location, location”
The perfect hotel for a small family visiting Tokyo for the first time. Smack bang in the centre of the action and literally 3 minutes walk away from the Mainline railway and the underground, which makes visiting other districts a breeze. The airport is approx 45mins away on the N'EX train, which I would recommend as a better alternative to the hotel limousine buses. Hotel staff were polite and very helpful, yet unobtrusive. Cleaning staff were wonderful and very trustworthy. We didn't try the hotel resturaunt, as there was so much choice in the surrounding area, but it looked the part and seemed popular. Overall, I was very impressed with the hotel and staff and would both recommend it to all, and definitely stay there again.
“good deal”
This is a great value, especially if you want to stay in the shibuya area. Close to everything, and also with great views. Room is not very roomy, but has everything one could need. Just wish the room had at least a small little window to open for some air. Nice breakfast area up at the top. Would stay here again.
“Heart of Shibuya -- Really fun area”
Room was small but had more than you needed. Service was great, friendly, and in English when it counted. If you got something like the 19th floor like us, you can see all of downtown below which is cool. The location was worth every penny.

Clean, good service, English capability and helpful staff. Airport bus access to/from both airports (Tokyo and Narita).
“Would stay again for the location!”
Great location, clean, good service - Recommended just for the price vs location! we stayed 6 nights and upgraded to the premier double for the king size bed. This type of room has a small sofa and is a little larger than the standard room. You can see the shibuya intersection from one of the elevators and is across from the Hachiko Exit. Double thumbs up.

Located right above the Shibuya train/subway stations, this hotel has easy access to the vivid local shopping and nightlife districts as well as public transportation.
