Romantic getaway

The room was clean and had no bed bugs. We enjoyed our stay but wish we could’ve gotten the large soaking tub they offer.

We checked in on a Friday, went to a funeral on Saturday, when we came back Saturday afternoon the room had not been cleaned, the bed was not made, trash was not emptied, when I asked the front desk clerk, he stated that the room was not cleaned because it was the weekend. So then on Sunday when we returned to the room all that had been done was the trash was emptied , but they didn't put in a new trash bag, and they gave new clean towels. still didn't make the bed. This was not excellent service in my opinion, as I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't clean the room everyday, as a result i will never book this hotel again.

Great staff, No Frills, Super firm bed

Service at the front desk was wonderful. I arrived in the wee hrs and was warmly welcomed. Super nice gentleman behind the desk. Check in took about 90 seconds, which was a plus. Room was clean, though it definitely looks like an older hotel. Which for me was fine. I don't need fancy. I rated just "ok" on comfort because the bed was very firm. Very. It was a king, but had a definite bump in the middle so that I still had to sleep to one side. Value for the price: I think this hotel (which is right off the OH Turnpike) could do great if it live into its name, "budget," and offered $30 rooms (which would be about $38 w tax), promoting itself as "no frills, but a great place if you're just passing through". I paid nearly $50, which was a special rate; IMHO, this is not a $50 room, if only for the bed alone. I didn't, however, partake in breakfast, which may have changed my mind about the price. If you, like me, are a no-frills traveler who just appreciates a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay, this might be the place for you. For 50 bucks though, I will probably head to my usual Motel 6 option next time, knowing that I'll sleep more comfortably.

My stay was great! I loved the colors on the walls, the fact that it had a fridge and a microwave, the beds were memory foam and I loved the three different levels of softness in the three different pillows. No bad odors, the heater was perfect with no complaints, and the water got really hot! In blizzard weather conditions.

Was uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. We had to be buzzed in to the lobby to check in and the front desk was extremely brief. We had to go outside again to get to our room. Open entering the heater was broken so it was very cold, limited blankets. The shower drain was plugged and was also cold. Very disappointed.

Nice enough place but housekeeping is stingy. Even with 3 people in a room they only leave 2 towels. Breakfast opens at 7:30 and is extremely limited and sparse - enough that we pretty much gave up on it.

I liked the bed, very comfortable. Shower had good water flow and plenty warm. Microwave worked good. The room had very little in it for 4 people. 2 little bars of soap and 1 shampoo package. No coffee maker in room, no kleenex. The breakfast was bad. Not stocked well, very little to eat. Coffee maker makes 2 cups of coffee. They didn't have anyone watching or checking when things were needed. Good thing for them no one else seemed to go and try to eat. Maybe they knew better than me.

Overall our room served its purpose; just need a place to sleep for our weekend of events (Jeep Fest etc.) If I had to pin point a thing or two: it looked like they can use a remodel (ex.: hole in wall and peep hole filled with tissue paper); outdoor landscaping could use an upgrade and maybe not leave a alcohol bottle with cotton swabs on stairwell ledge.

On our road trip, our family needed a place to stay on our journey to Cleveland, Ohio. Reservations were made for two queen beds. After check in, on our way to room manager ran to intercept us and tell us before entering the room was mistakenly listed as two queens. The room was incredibly filthy and in a appalling state of disrepair: 1. Roaches in the bathroom 2. Used tissues and condom on bedroom floor 3. Hole in the wall 4. Overwhelming smell of cigarettes in non-smoking room 5. Cigarettes burns on bed linens Previous positive reviews cannot be authentic; no way this lodging is habitable. We immediately left, informing the manager of the issues.

Property was dirty, holes in wall, areas patched on walls and not painted, boxes of trash in stairwells. I didn’t expect much of $70 motel, but it was pretty disgusting.
