“Canada's best upto now”
Staying for ten nights at the moment and writing this report on their PC which is provided for free. My wife and I have stayed in five hotels in the Toronto area over the past three years and would say this one is far the best for the price you pay. There are too many little touches they provide to mention, But I do have to mention the staff, the are very helpful and the breakfast is great. Needless to say that when we return to Toronto, my wife and I will certainly use the Clarion.
“Great Experience”
It is a historical hotel with a great charm to it. We took a lot of pictures of the place with us in it. Great service and friendly staff make it a pleasant place to stay.
“Very Clean Hotel”
For the money it was the best in Toronto.
“The best value in town with a great location”
Toronto downtown is an expensive place to stay and this hotel gives out the best value for ones dollar. The stay was supper in every aspect. Highly recommended.
“Excellent Time”
Hotel staff were extremly helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. In good location right outside a subway station but within walking distance to centre to Toronto. Nice bar just across the road (Groundhog) that provided excellent food and company. Would definately go back.
“great location”
hotel was just steps from subway and easy access to downtown toronto breakfast very good. would be happy to go back to this hotel in future
“I'd go back here!”
I am very happy with my decision to stay at the Clarion. The people were great and very cooperative. After getting there we realized we didn't get the room we had thought we were going to get. That was no problem, the front desk called us back in less than 5 minutes to tell us that they would up-grade us for free becuase of the inconvience. Both rooms we stayed in were very well kept. The up graded room was very impressive. The hotel was clean, the staff was extremely helpful in every situation and the continental breakfast was better than most I have had. I would recommend this hotel to any visitors for the location too. It was across the street from the subway and across the street from a few good pubs which helped on days we didn't feel like walking far to find food.
“Very Unique Hotel”
This hotel was a great value. We booked this hotel because it had a European flare to it. Also the hotel was rich in history (Historical Heritage building) and had been a Hotel for many decades. The room was comfortable and cozy with private HVAC controls for comfort. A handy location to get a around Toronto Downtown. I like to see more of this kind of hotels in North America. Although the hotel did not have a restaurant there were plenty of them around the corner and Greek Town is walking distance for awesome food. This hotel is Unique, Clean, Comfortable and Affordable.
“good hotel”
We enjoyed our stay, good service and nice rooms. Can't complaint, will come back for sure. The only thing we will request the hotel is to extend the checkout time till noon, Otherwise all is good
“Fantastic service”
This hotel was absolutely fantastic considering that my boyfriend and I managed to arrive on the wrong day and miss our flight back to London! They swapped our dates at the hotel without any charge - despite the fact that we had booked through Expedia. Then when we missed our flight - they did everything they could to help - we used their internet, they suggested cheap airlines, they gave us phone numbers - and then they let us sleep in the next morning because we had been up all night organising flights! The room was fantastic - but the lifts were tiny and difficult to put a big bag in - also the breakfast wasn't great, but it was included in the price. I really recommend this hotel - easy to get to downtown, parking and lovely staff.
